Story
We are looking for a new, permanent home for Rosco. He is an 11 month old pup who has so much love to give, but he needs a specific environment to truly succeed. About Rosco: • Personality: He is a cuddler who loves affection. He is well socialized with other dogs and is gentle and respectful with the cat in his current home. • Training: He is fully neutered and crate trained. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night. • Energy: He is a high energy pup who would love an active household. His Needs: • Yard Required: Rosco is not a candidate for apartment living. He requires a home with a secure backyard where he can run and play. • Patience & Structure: Because he comes from a trauma infused background, he still struggles with accidents inside. He needs a patient owner who is willing to help him with consistent reinforcement • Separation Anxiety: He has some separation anxiety but is familiar with a routine. He needs a stable, loving environment to help him grow in his confidence.

Story
Josie is a 2 year old dachshund/corgi mix weighing 17lbs. She is completely house/crate trained. Josie loves to play with other dogs her size, but is a little timid around larger dogs. She would be fine with older kids. She loves her people! Josie loves walks and is doing well with leash training. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.June 9, 2026, 12:07 am

Story
After I was injured by a car, I was taken to the shelter & put on the “last call” list. Mini Mutts saved me from euthanasia.! I had pelvic surgery & am now TOTALLY HEALED & looking for a new home! • I’ve been told I am handsome & sweet. I like that. • I am a little cautious of strangers at first, but once I feel comfortable with you, I am a friendly boy! (treats win me over in 5 minutes!). • I prefer my yard to leash walks. • I do best in a calm home without too many new people coming in. • I am house trained and crate trained! • I would like another dog in the house & someone home more than not. Want to meet me? Email us : mini-mutts@outlook.com (Fosters/adopters must reside in the Dallas Metroplex or surrounding areas only) ONE WEEK HOME TRIAL BEFORE ADOPTING! ************************************************** * NO DOGS OVER 25 LBS * NO APARTMENTS * NO CHILDREN UNDER 8 YRS

Story
We adopted Shady from the Everman Animal Shelter about 7 years ago, making her about 9 now. She has been such a wonderful part of our family, but we’re living internationally now, and after trying to make it work, we felt that it wasn’t fair for her to be moving around all the time. She loves to stay at home! She’s extremely gentle, loving, and calm. We’ve had no problems with her and our daughter (now a toddler) since she was born, but I can tell that other little kids stress her out. She can be territorial over her things and spaces, making her an ideal guard dog, but not comfortable around other pets. As she is an older dog there are some habits that she’s had a tough time kicking, mainly barking when someone gets to the house, but I’m sure someone that’s better at dog training could help her get past that! She’s very smart and trainable and she loves to learn new things. We love this girl so much and she has been the best pet! Anyone would be lucky to take her home.
