Story
Halo is a 4 year old, 20lb Shih Tzu.  Halo was surrendered from his owners becayse she had a lot of dogs and wanted to downsize.  Halo is the cutest little boy who is missing half his jaw, so his little tongue hangs out of his mouth all the time - it might be the cutest thing ever! Halo is the cutest little man with a big personality.  Halo loves to snuggle and hang out with his foster Momma.  He gets along with other dogs and is great on a leash.  He is pretty well trained and listens well.  Halo is also a pretty stubborn little man.   For some people this big personality is hilarous and they adore everything about him, everybody who meets him laughs at him and falls in love instantly.  He loves to cuddle and hang out and go for walks/wander around the back yard.  He is a non shedding dog so he will need someone who can get him regular grooming appointments.  If you are looking for an adorable little dog, with a tongue hanging out all the time, and a big personality Halo is your man! If you are interested in adopting little Halo, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2234207##

Story
We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see a sweet dog that is in need our help. Georgia was one of these dogs that was in dire need due to lack of space in a shelter and therefore facing euthanasia. This gorgeous girl deserves so much better. She deserves a wonderful home that is filled with tons of love and nurturing. Georgia's excellent temperament is a gift that she'll bring to a dog-crazy family that is searching for that loyal best friend who will always be by their side. Georgia is a gorgeous Shih Tzu / Yorkshire Terrier mix. Farfel's can't swear to these breeds as no DNA test was done. Her mix was the opinion of shelter veterinarians and we'll go with their opinion. Georgia was saved from euthanasia due to her excellent temperament, love of life and very sweet demeanor with both humans and other dogs. She is untested with cats. We received the following report from Georgia's rescuers: Georgia is a gentle and very loving 6 - 7 year-old Shih Tzu / Yorkie mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. This sweet little lady is the definition of friendly. She adores people and soaks up affection like sunshine. Whether you’re offering belly rubs, soft pets, or simply sitting nearby, Georgia is happiest when she’s close to the ones she loves. Georgia enjoys a calm, cozy environment and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate best friend. She’s the perfect mix of relaxed and playful, always ready for attention but just as content to curl up beside you on the couch for an afternoon nap or a late night movie. If a loving and very devoted pup is the answer to brighten your winter days, Georgia might be the perfect match. She’s ready to shower her forever family with warmth, sweetness, and plenty of tail wags. This little cutie is so much fun to be around. She's goofy and loving and so very sweet! She was so happy go lucky this morning and when we went outside, she walked well and was so excited to be outdoors.I just love this little girl! I know that Farfel's requires their adopters to attend. either virtual or in-person obedience classes.Georgia will be a champ!. She's super-smart and developing (with the help of treats) a desire to please that's so important for training class. Georgia is a perfect size to accompany her family just about everywhere a smaller dog is welcome. She will fit right into virtually every situation with training and due to her great temperament and very sweet personality. As Georgia becomes more and more comfortable in her forever home, she'll blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more Georgia will shine with her accomplishments. Farfel's would like to see our wonderful girl in a home that includes her in family time and fun activities (and some lap or couch-time with belly rubs would be absolutely perfect!) Georgia has been fully vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations. This support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. She has also been spayed to reinforce our commitment to a euthanasia-free future in the canine population. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and very loving best friend and can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-res. cue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Georgia please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
