Zebra is a male Pooton puppy born 1/19/24. Like his name indicates, he is a mix of black and white. He has an adorable little face and is very playful. He enjoys playing hide and seek with my resident dog and exploring outside. He kennels easily with his sister throughout the night and during periods during the daytime for naps. Potty training is a work in progress. He likes belly rubs. Bower is the sweetest little ball of love! He is a Pooton, which is a purebred poodle and purebred Coton de Tulear born approximately 1/19/24. He’ll likely never get above 15 pounds and 12 inches tall, so he’ll always be a little guy. His hair will grow medium-to-long length and require grooming. Bower is learning that having a home is wonderful! He’s super playful and wants to run and play with toys all day long. He’s working on potty training, and learning he gets lots of praise when he does his business outside. Potty training is coming along beautifully! He lives with Foster Mom’s resident dog who he absolutely loves. He has loved every dog he has met so far. Inside the house, Bower has run of the house and he frequently jumps onto the dog beds to lounge and nap. He has been in a crate, and he does just fine in there. He’s not in his crate for more than a couple hours at a time. He loves toys and keeps himself entertained with a variety of toys. He’s a puppy so he wants to be chewing on most everything. Keep your nice shoes out of his reach! He LOVES treats, and dinner time makes him very excited. Rides in the car are becoming one of his favorite things to do. He’s doing great with walking on a leash, but he can’t walk too far, and certainly not walk fast.  His little legs are perfect for nice short strolls where he can stop and sniff along the way.  Bower is with his foster mom most of the day and he’d do best in a home where someone will be home with him most of the day. He’d also do best in a home where there’s another resident dog who he can learn from. Diamond is a female Pooton (cross between Coton De Tulear and Poodle) puppy born 1/19/24.  She has beautiful black and white coloring and is a little fluff ball. Like her brother Zebra, Diamond is joyful and loves to play with people and my resident dog. She kennels easily with her brother for the duration of the night and on and off for naps during the day. Potty training is a work in progress. She loves cuddling with my children. She will make a great companion dog. **Texas adoption only*** This is Joey, a senior dog with the heart and soul of a resilient soldier. For starters, Joey is a beautiful senior Lhasa Apso mix with a unique personality. He's a polite but guarded gentleman who looks like he's wearing a fancy gray suit! Joey is a very sensitive dog who'll need very sensitive, present, and patient people to take him on. For Joey's adoption process he will need several appointments and meetings to see if it is a good match. Joey enjoys long walks, perhaps one of his favorite activities, and will take you on a nicely paced walk through your neighborhood everyday if you get him on the leash! Joey is well trained knowing both how to behave and be comfortable in a crate and relieve himself outside. Joey also enjoys a good tug of war and was a mean puller during his old army days with the other boys in green. He's a child at heart and loves to play with toys! This fellow would prefer to be the only dog in the house but can be tolerant of other dogs. If other dogs are present Joey might feel a bit insecure and start marking. Please don't move too quickly towards Joey! He likes a very relaxed, low-energy environment and is not afraid to let you know when there's too much going on. Joey would prefer no children or at least older children that can respect him and not stick their hands in his face. In addition, Joey prefers people not be too grabby with him. Summer Breeze...makes me feel fine...blowing through the jasmine in my miiiiinnnd My foster mumsie sings that to me because she says I remind her of that song ....I'm like a warm Summer Breeze coming to bring you out of your winter woes. I make friends with all the dogs big and small, I like cats,I love kids,and I am gentle, wiggle butt of happiness all the time. My foster mumsie says another big bonus is that I'm like a shihtzu for someone on a budget... I have the cute squishy face and none of that long hair that has to be continuously groomed. Win-win! Summer is a wonderful little Shihtzu mix of some such. She is approx a year old and 14lbs grown. She is extremely easy,happy,and affectionate. She gets along with all of my dogs and fosters ,my cats,and the neighbor kids love her. They are at my door daily to see if she can come out and play. Summer recalls like a dream and doesn't run off if not on leash,but she also has great leash skills now. She is kennel trained and sleeps overnight in her kennel. She loves toys and to play, starting to learn fetch with little smaller 's. She is very gentle and would be perfect for a family even with small children. She is still working on her potty training, but is learning fast. She is maybe medium energy. While she does love to play and bounce around she also can just sit on your lap while watching a movie. Hello, I’m Nina, a precious and sweet albeit VERY shy female Chihuahua/Bichon Frise mix puppy. I am cautious around people in general and I don’t like loud noises or a lot of commotion, so I’m not sure if kids are a good fit for me! I admit that I follow mom everywhere but it’s not necessarily because I want her attention…I just want to know what she’s up to…unless she’s giving the other pups attention then…of course, I must be part of the action! Hee, hee!! I love playing with toys and eating treats and have even started taking treats from foster mom’s hand…YAY for me!! I am still working on potty training, I don’t have any experience with the leash, and I don’t like the kennel/crate. Anyway, I have not met any cats or larger dogs, but I do well with smaller dogs like me and will need a companion and a fenced yard at my new home so we can safely explore and play!
