Hi my name is Riggy Moe and I am from Minnesota! Riggy Moe is a Senior Mini Schnauzer, she is very sweet and adorable!! She is full of personality and she is a social gal as she likes to make new friends. She does great with my other dogs as well. She also likes going for walks when the weather is nice. She is doing well with her housetraining and her crate training, I recently have let her run of my bedroom, kitchen and she has been doing well with that.She is used to sleeping on my bed with me as I have doggy stairs for her to use and she definitely let you know her place is on the bed, I affectionately call her my Sassy Princess! She is a wonderful companion dog who already has me wrapped around her little paw as I just adore her! From the Vet: Ms. Riggy Moe is a spunky senior gal ready to find her final forever home for her golden years. She has a history of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye) and requires lifelong medication to keep her eyes comfortable and healthy. Her adopter will need to maintain consistent treatment and establish care with their primary veterinarian for ongoing eye management and monitoring. She has undergone extensive dental care, including numerous tooth extractions, to ensure her mouth is now healthy and pain-free. Upon arrival, Riggy Moe was underweight. After reaching a healthy weight, she successfully underwent surgery to repair a luxated (dislocated) left hip. She has recovered well, but her adopter should monitor her joint health long-term and keep her at a healthy weight to support mobility and comfort.

Story
Hi, my name is Raisen, I am from Alabama. From his foster: Raisen adores being held and sleeping in your lap. After about a week of decompressing, his personality really began to come through. He's curious and confident, mastering the stairs quickly and fitting in easily with our 55lb resident dogs. He follows their cues, but isn't afraid to speak up if someone comes sniffing around the toy he's playing with. He even joined in with barking at the mail carrier! He had no clue why everyone was barking, but wanted to be part of the action. Raisen’s confidence and curiosity have continued to grow. He continues to really enjoy playing with toys of all sorts and is a great finder socks left on the floor for him. Raisen gets along with everyone but definitely has a favorite person in the house - Mom. Raisen follows Mom everywhere right at their heels. When Mom holds Raisen, he’s so glad he just lays his little head down for snuggles. He’s at his happiest being near his person even if it’s just napping next to them on the couch. Raisen gets car sick! We have meds to help him travel in the future now. He settles ok in his crate but probably would not like frequent road trips. Raisen does sleep in his crate at night and does well with peeing on potty pads. He's about 50% there on where he decides to poop. We have not yet introduced Raisen to going outside or leash walking. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease which requires me to come in for several appointments/injections and be on activity restrictions. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

Hello my name is Jojo, I'm from Minnesota! Jojo is a gentle and shy little lady with a heart full of love. At 13 years old, she’s lived a quiet life and is wonderful with all people, including children. She loves going on walks and meeting new friends. In her senior years, she'd love to be someone's close companion to spend many hours enjoying life together. Previously housetrained, Jojo has recently experienced some changes that have caused her to revert, so she’ll need a kind and understanding home to help her get back on track. She’s a sweet, sensitive soul who thrives on gentle affection and a calm environment. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who just wants to feel safe and loved, Jojo could be your perfect match. From the Vet: Jojo has been in rescue for a few months now and TBB was able to determine that her GI symptoms were related to a condition called Cushing's disease. She is being well managed on a prescription diet and cortisol control medication called Vetoryl. Now that Jojo has a good management plan, we know that in the right home, she will be an amazing companion!
