Story
This little 12lb dapple daper guy just recently came into rescue and has been an absolute delight since he has arrived. Although some folks are hesitant of male dogs because of marking, we are happy to share that he seems to be potty trained and has not had one accident or marking incident in the house. He is respectful of the older dogs  and LOVES to play with the younger dog in the home. He will stick close to people and will willingly sit on the couch with his foster mom and dad; however, right now he is afraid of human hands. He has already started taking treats from hands and is slowly learning that they will not hurt him but he will need a patient adopter to continue the trust aspect. He will be looking for a home with a fenced yard and hopefully another playful dog to buddy up with.Normann is being fostered in BuffaloNormann's adoption donation is $650

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roxy is available for adoption!  She is an adorable Chiweenie, 8 years old and 12 pounds.  Roxy came to us from Texas with her sister.  They were dumped in the streets with nowhere to go! Roxy is a sweet little dog.  She is crate trained and often goes in her crate to nap during the day.  She is learning to walk on a leash and doing well!  She may need a little encouragement at first, but she is fine once she gets going.  She is very food motivated and that helps her on her walks!  Roxy is good with other dogs.  She may chase a cat if she sees one though lol.  We haven't had her around kids but we do not think it will be an issue if they are respectful.  She is doing well with her housetraining but please expect some adjustment time as she learns a new home and routine.  When she isn't napping, Roxy follows her foster mom all over but her favorite room is the kitchen when it's mealtime!  Roxy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also had a dental since she arrived.  Her adoption fee is $400Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
Hi, Miss Deliah would make a wonderful addition to your family. She loves to cuddle, she behaves all request including going potty. She will follow you around the house all day. The perfect home for her would be a home based fur mom or dad, she is crate trained, but she has the run of the house. She does not like other dogs, so she needs to be the only dog. She is afraid of babies, but good with older school aged kids. No one can go around her when she is eating, unless it is you. She is also very protective of her toys.

Story
Jules was born around February 21, 2017 and weighs about 22 pounds.  Joyful was contacted by the brother of a man who had gone into Hospice and left behind 3 dogs and a cat.  The man's brother had owned the animals and loved them very much but he was ill and unable to take care of himself let alone his pets.  Jules is an extremely loving, sweet girl, that may be a bit shy at first and loves to cuddle and have lap time.  However, she will take a little time to warm up so a home with a ton of traffic may not be best for her.  Jules does well with the other dogs here and lived with a cat in her former life.  Jules rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. She is one the quiet side unless there is something to bark about.  Update from the Foster Mom Sue;  In search of: Snugglebuddy for Ms. JULES !!! She wants someone to cuddle up with her on the couch of your choice, especially with the cooler temps coming! She gets along with other dogs and is. Jules has a lot of love to give! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $475.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
