Story
They say, "Happiness is a warm puppy" and boy are they not wrong with Slinky!! He is the perfect little pal, just waiting for a family to come and make him theirs. He is still very young, and so he is ready to learn how to fit in, and make you fall in love with him. His perfect home can have a cat, another dog, and even children! He does need a fenced yard to help keep him safe and secured and to help burn up that puppy energy. His owners will be committed to training. Having Slinky join your family is truly like winning the lottery!

*This dog is fostered in the Toronto region*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Say hello to adorable Aspen! This little pup was an owner surrender of an unwanted litter. Aspen was the largest of the group and the most outgoing. She loves to run, play and explore. She is your typical puppy who likes to chew on things, play hard and then nap harder. Aspen is such a sweet girl - nothing makes her happier than snuggling up with her humans at the end of the day! Well, that... and dinner time! Give her a treat and she'll be your best friend. She's learned to walk on a leash, so when she's not going on walks she loves to spend her days chewing on toys or resting in her crate. She loves to stop and try to get people to give me pets on walks. Aspen gets so excited when she wakes up and sees her humans first thing in the morning, but also down to cuddle on the couch for a movie marathon. She'd be a great addition to any house looking for a best friend. And yes - the ears are as big and cute as they seem. Overall Aspen would make a great addition to nearly any home environment. She does well with kids, dogs and cats. She is working on her potty training and leash walking, but will perfect those in no-time with a consistent family. If you're looking for a fun-loving little dog to brighten up your life, Aspen just might be the one for you!Name: AspenWeight: ~10lbAge: ~10 monthsGender: FemaleBreed: Dachshund mixColour: OrangeMedical: Treated for aspiration pneumonia Fixed: YesGood with men: YesGood with women: YesGood with kids 0-6: UnknownGood with kids 6+: YesGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesHouse trained: Working on it Crate trained: YesCrate aggressive: NoFood aggressive: NoWalks on a leash: YesEnergy level: Puppy; medium Suitable for an apartment: YesBarker: Average - to noises/people entering the home

Story
Hello! I'm a sweet and friendly companion who can be a little shy at first, especially around strangers. But offer me some delightful treats, and we'll quickly become the best of friends. I have a special fondness for females, and while I'm a bit wary around males, with time and patience, I can warm up to them too. I haven't had the chance to meet children under 13, but I'm sure I'd be okay with them as long as they are gentle with me. I'm quite easy to handle, lift, and carry, making me an ideal cuddle buddy. I get along well with most dogs, but I can feel a bit overwhelmed by overly hyper dogs. If a dog displays aggression, I won't back down and might assert myself, so a slow and careful introduction to other dogs is important. Being the center of attention is what I thrive on—I adore people! However, if there's another dog in the house, I might get a tad jealous. I have a moderate energy level, enjoying walks while being calm and composed indoors. I'm well-behaved during walks, especially in quiet areas, but I can get frightened by loud noises and busy streets. I'm not possessive of resources when it comes to people, but I may growl if another dog is around me. Due to my strong attachment to people, I could experience some separation anxiety down the road. I only bark when I need to communicate something important. I'm crate trained and generally do well with potty training, both indoors and outdoors. However, I do struggle a bit with car sickness, particularly on longer rides. Although I might throw up on journeys exceeding 20 minutes, I do know how to get off the car, even though getting in is a bit unfamiliar to me. This revised profile captures the personality, preferences, and needs of the pet while maintaining a warm and inviting tone. *To see more videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jyq8WZgRPeqe19e-R_NJZpc *Chocomi will arrive in Toronto in October 2023.

Story
Inky is currently being fostered in Texas. Inky is 5-8 month old, 8 pound dachshund mix. She was rescued from the atascosa Animal Shelter here in town. Inky is a very sweet soul and the most shy of her siblings, quiet and more submissive, a tad timid. Great with dogs and cats and we ask only older well mannered children since Inky is a little on shy side, she may not appreciate loud toddlers. She is a gentle loving soul waiting for her perfect family. Inky will be apx 20-25 pounds short and stout fully grown.
