QUICK FACTS Name: Scoop Age: 4.5 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Spitz Dachshund mix Color: White, with a bit of brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. Through no fault of my own, my time was running out and my future was uncertain. Thankfully, rescuers saw something special in me and stepped in just in time. Because of their kindness, I was given a second chance at life and the opportunity to find the loving family I have always deserved. Now, I'm safe, cared for, and looking forward to a bright future filled with love, happiness, and a forever home to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm a super adorable boy who's only around 4.5 months old, so I still have lots to learn about the world! Every day is a new adventure, and I'm excited to continue growing, learning, and discovering new things. Volunteers and staff compliment me on how adorable I am all the time and often say that photos and videos don't do me justice. I'm even cuter in person! I'm a sweet, friendly boy who enjoys spending time with both people and dog friends. With my young age, loving personality, and endless potential, I'm ready to grow into an amazing companion for a lucky forever family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm a little shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats. Once I feel comfortable, I happily accept pets, affection, and attention from my people. I'm very food motivated, which makes me eager to learn and easy to train. If treats are involved, I'm always excited to participate and show off my skills! I also allow myself to be picked up and handled with ease. With a little time and encouragement, my sweet and affectionate personality quickly shines through. · With Dogs: I'm friendly with my dog friends and enjoy meeting new dogs. Playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day, and I'm always excited to run around, have fun, and make new friends. I especially love playing with my siblings and spending time with other dogs. My social and playful personality makes it easy for me to get along with my canine companions, and I'm happiest when I have friends to share my adventures with. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash walking skills and gaining confidence as I experience more of the world. I can be a little cautious or scared at times, but I'm improving day by day and becoming more comfortable with new experiences. I don't guard my food from people, although I can be a little sensitive around other dogs during mealtimes. I'm generally a quiet boy, but I may bark when I want attention. The good news is that I settle down quickly once my needs are met. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel when it's time to relax. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors, giving my future family a great foundation to build on. With continued guidance, patience, and positive experiences, I'll continue growing into a confident and well-rounded companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I'm still a young pup and will need continued guidance, patience, and training as I grow into a fine young man.   SPECIAL NOTES I'm a young boy with a bright future ahead of me and so much potential waiting to blossom. Every day I'm learning more about the world, building my confidence, and discovering new things. While there are still many experiences ahead of me, I approach life with curiosity, resilience, and an open heart. I love spending time with my dog friends, playing with my siblings, and making new memories. As I continue to grow, I'll benefit from a family who is excited to guide me, teach me, and celebrate all of my milestones along the way. With patience, love, and consistency, I'm confident I'll grow into a wonderful companion and loyal best friend. I may still be a puppy, but I already have so much love to give and can't wait to share my journey with a forever family of my own.   SCOOP'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2767379##
