Story
This is Beau. He is an 8 month old puppy who is 35 pounds. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him. He is a sensitive soul who was likely a stray since birth before he was picked up by animal control services. He is extremely trainable and loves agility. He also loves treats, toys, chews, tug of war, wrestling, dig holes, fetch, and having his belly rubbed. He forms a very special bond with his owner and is very loyal. He will need to go to a home who can exercise him daily and continue his training. Also a home without children and without other dogs. We don’t know if he would get along with cats. We are rehoming him because he bit our older dog. He resource guards from dogs and for this reason we believe he cannot go to a home with another dog. He is fearful of strangers, but has learned many skills with the help of a trainer. Skills like Sit and Wait, Place, Touch (my palm), and Leave It. I am able to walk him at the park among people and he does well with treats and training.

Story
Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 9-year-old Dachshund mix (maybe with some Beagle!) who’s the definition of a chill, loyal companion. He’s about 20 lbs, crate, potty, and leash trained, and great with dogs, cats, and kids.   This cuddly guy just wants to be near his person, snoozing beside you, tagging along on errands, or soaking up attention. He’s confident around bigger dogs but not afraid to give them a grumpy old-man warning if they get too close.   Tucker’s calm, gentle nature makes him an easy dog to take anywhere - no barking, no fuss. He does have a small fatty lump near his belly (non-cancerous) that may be removed during his upcoming dental.   Whoever adopts him is getting a total gem!   He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tucker is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT TUCKER! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. November 16, 2025, 1:34 pm

Story
Slinky is a standard black and tan Dachshund that I adopted from Greenville, SC. He now lives in the mountains of NC. It would be best for him to go back down the mountain as the twisty roads here don’t sit well with him. A single story house with a secure fenced in yard without stairs to protect his back and allow him to run around and be outside. He is somewhat reactive to people and dogs and has strong desires to hunt and dig. I live in a single story townhouse in a small neighborhood with no backyard and will be moving to a retirement apartment complex that will not be suitable for him.

Mr George is such a ham!!! He is as easy going as they come. He is great with kids, dogs and would probably do well with cats. George is house trained and crate trained too! This sweet boy is just looking for a short walk or outdoor yard time and a soft sofa or a lap. He adores attention. George is a great little man in a compact package. Laid back, sweet and a lover !! Better than a boyfriend!
