Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 9-year-old Dachshund mix (maybe with some Beagle!) who’s the definition of a chill, loyal companion. He’s about 20 lbs, crate, potty, and leash trained, and great with dogs, cats, and kids.   This cuddly guy just wants to be near his person, snoozing beside you, tagging along on errands, or soaking up attention. He’s confident around bigger dogs but not afraid to give them a grumpy old-man warning if they get too close.   Tucker’s calm, gentle nature makes him an easy dog to take anywhere - no barking, no fuss. He does have a small fatty lump near his belly (non-cancerous) that may be removed during his upcoming dental.   Whoever adopts him is getting a total gem!   He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Mr George is such a ham!!! He is as easy going as they come. He is great with kids, dogs and would probably do well with cats. George is house trained and crate trained too! This sweet boy is just looking for a short walk or outdoor yard time and a soft sofa or a lap. He adores attention. George is a great little man in a compact package. Laid back, sweet and a lover !! Meet Lyle! Lyle was brought into the local shelter from the emergency vet after being found. Likely hit by a car, he had a fractured pelvic bone which healed with crate rest. He was found to be HW positive and is almost done with his treatment, which also requires crate rest... Lyle is not impressed with crate rest! He wants to RUN! Run, run, run and then snuggle! He likes to play chase with other higher-energy dogs and will need an active home to take him on daily sniffy walks, hikes, and fun, active things once his HW crate rest is over. His last HW treatment is scheduled for 8/18, and he should be off crate rest for 30 days after that. Lyle is a SHORT stack. He is only 32 pounds and about 24 inches in length. He takes up even less space in the bed when he curls up to sleep under the covers in a ball. He also likes to chew on antlers and shred fluffy toys to bits. Lyle would make a great family pet for an active family who would take him everywhere and work on his recall. Lyle is an escape artist, and he finds the big, wide world way more interesting than crate rest. Learning to wait at doorways will be a necessity! Do you want a bathroom buddy who will follow you everywhere, unless he gets way from you..., and give you the BEST bedtime snuggles???? Lyle is your man! Barney enjoys car rides, cuddles and relaxing at home with his people.  Sometimes Barney can bark when he sees people outside his house or is nervous.  He does well around fireworks during the holidays though.  He’s used to a dog door, but will also politely ask to go outside. Barney does have a small benign tumor on his front paw that gives him a bit of a quirky walk, but it doesn’t cause him any pain — it just adds to his charm and character!He’s a smart boy who knows all his basic commands and will happily do anything for a treat. His signature move? Sitting up on his bottom like a little prairie dog — it’s absolutely adorable!At night, Barney likes to start out in bed with you before cozying up on his dog bed once he gets warm.
