Puppies 6 months and under are typically $200 and dogs from 7 months to 6 years are typically $100.00. The adoption fee may be higher or lower than stated however, and is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run discount specials and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee. Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an "Adopt one, bring another one home for free" adoption special!

Story
Slinky is a standard black and tan Dachshund that I adopted from Greenville, SC. He now lives in the mountains of NC. It would be best for him to go back down the mountain as the twisty roads here don’t sit well with him. A single story house with a secure fenced in yard without stairs to protect his back and allow him to run around and be outside. He is somewhat reactive to people and dogs and has strong desires to hunt and dig. I live in a single story townhouse in a small neighborhood with no backyard and will be moving to a retirement apartment complex that will not be suitable for him.
