Fletcher is newly a senior, and he has an endearing "weird old man" vibe to him. Fletcher is totally hairless, and rocking the bald look! If you're looking for a spunky, four-legged roommate to share your home with, Fletcher is totally that guy. He is playful and enjoys destroying a good squeaky toy before taking a nap on a cozy bed or couch. He has done okay with other dogs. Fletcher would do best in a home without cats or young children, as he strongly believes in personal space and would rather receive affection on his own terms. Adults-only home, no children, no other pets. Experienced pet owners only. We're rehoming him due to our son's severe dog allergies. Herk had a liver shunt repair (2020) and back surgery (2025), both fully recovered. Standard dachshund back care required: no jumping, limited stairs, no rough play. He eats The Farmer's Dog (turkey, beef, pork) twice daily with pumpkin. No chicken due to a confirmed allergy. Vet records available.
