You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Samantha & Josie ❤️ Samantha and Josie are a sweet bonded pair looking for a calm, loving home where they can stay together forever. These two girls came from the same place and have formed a special connection that brings comfort and confidence to each other, so they must be adopted together. Samantha is a larger Dachshund mix at around 20 pounds who came to us already missing one eye. Unfortunately, we don’t know how or when it happened, but despite everything she’s been through, Samantha is incredibly loving and just wants to be close to her people. If you have a lap, she’ll happily claim it! She can be a little unsure around strangers at first and may bark until she feels safe, but once she trusts you, she is affectionate, loyal, and happiest curled up beside you. Josie, around 25 pounds, was very shy and reserved when she first arrived in foster care, but she has blossomed beautifully with patience and love. She now enjoys interacting with her foster dog siblings, going outside, and following her people from room to room. Like Samantha, Josie loves being close to her humans and is happiest snuggled up nearby. Both girls enjoy companionship more than toys, though Samantha occasionally likes chewing on a Nylabone. They are crate trained and do well eating and sleeping in their crates, though they would much rather be cuddled up next to their people. Josie is still working on potty training and continues to make great progress. Samantha and Josie both thrive in a calm environment with patient people who can give them the time, affection, and reassurance they deserve. They have not been tested with children or cats, as their foster home does not have either. These girls have been through so much, but together they’ve found comfort, confidence, and friendship. Now they’re searching for a forever family willing to open their hearts and home to both of them. In return, Samantha and Josie will fill your life with loyalty, love, and endless cuddles.   Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2026, 11:32 am

Story
Thanks for checking out Lewis’s profile!1 yr Rabies done June 2026Heartworm done July 2026We are currently in need of a re-home for our 3 Year Old Dachshund/Heeler/Cattle Dog mix. Lewis. My Wife and I just recently had a baby boy, and this seems to have agitated some previously identified stress reactions over the limit. We've already had a few nips and close calls with our toddler since the birth and we just can't provide the high levels of comfort for him when he has very high anxiety moments (During Rain, Fireworks, or pretty much any other loud noises). He does really well with other dogs, especially once he can bond with them, and was really good with our toddler until the last 2 months. He is potty/crate trained and has some basic recall training. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I hope to hear from you soon! :)

Story
Wendell is a young VERY SWEET daschund mix so has short little legs. He is mixed with who knows how many other breeds but he is cute as heck!  We know Wendell is coming to us with an injury and possibly a neuro issue so we will have him thoroughly vetted and he will remain coming soon until we know more. He is also still intact so we need to have him neutered as well.July 10, 2026, 10:03 am
