Story
Meet Xerxes!  This little pup is on the hunt for his forever family. Xerxes is a dachshund and pitbull terrier mix with an estimated birthday of 11/30/2024. Xerxes still has a lot of growing to do, we estimate him to be between 35-40lbs fully grown. Of course, puppies often prove us wrong! Xerxes sports an adorable white and tan coat and the cutest little legs! Like most puppies, Xerxes is incredibly outgoing and is always looking to make new friends. He does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, but if you already have any dogs we require a meet and greet.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387 ##2280508##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This precious little blonde girl was found in early March under a dumpster- skinny, terrified, but so very happy to be found before the next cold weather! Pixie was about 5 months old and obviously had minimal (if any) care or attention, so we are still working on potty training. She has learned to sleep in her crate at night, that PupCups on car rides are quite tasty, and she is practicing staying in the back seat of the car with her foster big sister, Dahlia. More than anything, she has learned her favorite place to be is wherever her people are. Pixie gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is quite gentle, but seems to do better with a dominant dog who can uphold boundaries as she can intrude personal space. She generally ignores cats since they won't play fetch with her, but she will bark at them if they get on top of her crate (the nerve of those cats! ). Her bark is pretty funny and often sounds more like a rooster, "roo-roooo!" She loves her chew toys, stuffies, zoomies in the yard, being brushed, and literally ANY activity where you are giving her attention. We estimate her adult weight will be around 25-30 lbs. She would be great in a home with other dogs, confident cats, and dog savvy children. She is extremely eager to please, and her training shows it. She knows sit and to go to her crate on command, and is learning excellent leash manners, down, and stay. She would appreciate a home that would continue her training.   Estimated birth- October 2024 Other dogs- great Cats- confident cats are best, as she struggles with boundaries  Children- yes, very gentle with toddlers to middle school age.  Eats dry Iams puppy food   Just made a couple of changes!   Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Too young for Heartworm Testing Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2025, 11:13 am

Story
My name is Jason aka Noah, as in the father of all mankind:) I have been through alot in my life, I started out in a horrible hoarding situation with my sisters, brothers, uncles and mother. I knew in my heart of hearts that there is a much better world out there. And there is!! I was saved with about 88 dogs and pups, the ladies who drive out to save all of us are absolute saints.... So, back to my origin story, I had an unbelievable hernia out my back end that made my life hell...so the ladies git me to the rescue and 3 SURGERIES later, I am living a normal life 😀 I am a sweet boy, but having come from the situation i did, i am not a cuddle bug. I will hang out with you, just next to your chair. My life has come full circle and I am finally ready to find thst forever home who will love me until the end of time. I am waiting!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Gunner was found as a puppy alone in the country. I took him in and spoiled him. Hes about 11 years old. Great lap dog. Loves attention. I now have a family and hes not the best with small kids. Someone who is looking for a companion to sit down with and pet for hours, Gunner is your dog.

Story
Gunner was found in the country alone when he was a puppy. He was about a year old. My family took him in and he became my baby. Literally, I would hold him and baby him unconditionally. Since having him I have grown my own family and my lifestyle has changed. Hes not the greatest with young children and I just dont have the time to give him the love and attention he needs. He is the greatest lap dog. He will sit with you for hours and let you pet him until he goes bald. Hes very easy going. He gets along with other small dogs but does not care for big dogs. He likes to roam if permitted. Where we live i let him roam around our area without a leash. Neighbors dont mind. Overall an awesome dog.
