Story
Meet Windell !! This little guy is so fun and super sweet. He has a very playful and fun personality with a side of cuddle bug mixed in. He’s very energetic and absolutely not a lap dog. Windell is a 5 month old male. He is a Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. He currently weighs 9 pounds. He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of his adoption. He is on monthly preventions. Windell is basically a wild and crazy puppy. He’s fun loving and very active. He’s super sweet but always on the go. He is still working on his puppy training but he tries his best to be a good boy. He has been great on car rides. He does pretty good with leash walking. He’s been doing good with his crate training. He can get a little whiny at times but he’s learning. He’s not fully potty trained but he’s starting to figure it out. He often gets to playing outside and forgets to potty so you have to watch him. Windell has done well with other dogs. He’s spunky and happy to play with them. He can be annoying to dogs that don’t like a playful puppy bouncing all over them. He hasn’t been around cats so we aren’t sure how he would do. He’s been excellent with kids so far. He has a medium to high energy level. He loves to play and run with other dogs. He absolutely loves being outside. He’s a very spunky fun dog. He’s happy happy happy all the time. He loves to be with you and on the go. He absolutely has to have a family that understands puppy energy and has time to keep him busy. Windell has not had any trouble sharing treats toys or bones with people. He’s fed separately from other dogs so we aren’t sure how he would do. He wasn’t raised with other dogs so he’s not super savvy with other dogs. He will try to steal bones or toys out of their mouths and get confused when they aren’t happy with it. He will learn but a tolerant dog would be best. If you’re looking for a little guy that has a ton of personality and an adventurous attitude, then he may be the one!! Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) ‼️Please message VillageDogResource@gmail.com directly with questions or to get an application.
