Story
Meet Pickle Wiggle, a 6-month-old, 18-pound mixed-breed sweetheart with a beautiful red coat accented by touches of white. This gentle girl can be a little shy at first, taking her time to soak in new surroundings and people, but once she feels safe, her soft and loving personality really shines. She may not be the first to grab a toy in the shelter environment, but that’s likely because everything is still new and overwhelming — deep down, she’s just a tender pup waiting to blossom.Pickle Wiggle would thrive in a patient, kind home that can help build her confidence at her own pace. With encouragement, positive experiences, and a steady routine, she’s sure to come out of her shell and show her playful side. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who will reward your love with quiet devotion (and maybe a few shy tail wags), Pickle Wiggle might be your perfect match. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Dudley is an energetic, dachshund mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Despite a tough beginning—he was unhoused and living in a car—this little guy hasn’t lost his zest for life. Dudley can be unsure of new people and will need time and patience to build trust. Once he feels safe, his loyal and loving nature shines through. He’s also quite vocal, so he may not be the best fit for apartment living. This brave boy has already shown how resilient he is. Now he’s ready for the next chapter—a stable, caring home where he can finally feel secure and loved. Could you be the one to give Dudley the happily ever after he deserves? Our adoption process and application can be found at - https://www.sunnyskysshelter.org/our-adoption-process Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Training & Daily Life Leash trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes (for travel) Potty trained: Proven to adjust well in a home with proper routine and guidance Currently, Caramelo stays in an open daycare facility where he shares space with other dogs. He sleeps indoors in his assigned kennel area and does very well in a structured environment. Ideal Home Caramelo would thrive in: A family with respectful children A home with another friendly dog Or with someone seeking a loyal, adaptable companion Thanks to his compact size and easygoing nature, he’s a wonderful dog to include in everyday adventures. A secure home and loving environment will allow him to continue growing in confidence and feeling safe. His Rescue Story At just 8 months old, Caramelo was found living at a plant market under heartbreaking conditions. He had been tied up with tape wrapped around his mouth to stop him from barking. A compassionate rescuer witnessed this and refused to look away. She advocated for him and brought him to safety. Though faint marks remain as reminders of his past, Caramelo has long since embraced love and security. Today, he is healthy, trusting, and patiently waiting for the forever home he so deeply deserves. Caramelo is proof that even after hardship, a heart can remain soft. Caramelo is waiting in Mexico for a committed trial family so he can travel north Adoption fee $600 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2660202##
