Meet Billy! 🐾 Billy’s journey started in Fresno, California, where he was found as a stray. After multiple attempts were made to locate his owners, he was eventually surrendered to the humane society and made available for rescue. Sacred Pawz had been keeping an eye on this sweet boy, and when Billy was placed on the red list due to lack of shelter space, we knew we had to step in. Billy is now safely in foster and absolutely thriving! He currently lives with two other dogs who he LOVES to play with, and when he isn’t romping around with his foster siblings, you can usually find him right beside his people. Billy is incredibly affectionate and definitely has a little Velcro-dog energy. He loves following his foster mama around the yard, especially when she’s gardening, where he takes his role as her official assistant very seriously. 🌱 He appears to be potty trained, is a great listener, and is eager to please. Billy is still a young guy, so he’s continuing to work on his basic commands and manners, but he is sweet, loving, playful, and ready to learn. And can we please talk about those ears?! Our best guess is that he’s a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix, but with animal rescue, breed is always a bit of a mystery! What we do know is that this little boy has plenty of sweetness and silliness packed into his tiny body. Gideon can be shy when he first meets you, so give him a little time to settle in and get to know you. Gentle encouragement, kind words, and tasty treats help him feel comfortable enough to let his personality shine. Flower Lilly Little Legs Big Charm has a long body, little legs, and big doe eyes that could talk you into just about anything. An extra treat? Of course. A few more minutes of back scratches? We’re guessing Labrador Retriever and Dachshund may be part of the recipe, though her age and breed are our best guesses. Whatever the combination, the proportions are pretty adorable. She’s fostered in a loving home with a wide variety of big and small dogs, and her foster describes her as happy, fun, and happy to offer a little management when she thinks the household needs it. Those little legs come with some personality! She enjoys being part of the crew and has a playful, affectionate side that shines in the comfort of her foster home. When we first met Flower Lilly, she took a little time to get acquainted. Even during those quieter first moments, her warm, gentle nature was easy to see. A soft hello and a little patience give her room to get comfortable and let you meet more of the girl her foster knows and loves. I have had little bear since she was only 6 weeks old. She looked like a little polar bear so thats what we named her. I worked 13 hr night shifts raising 1 kid with several dogs and little bear is MY dog. Not the kids mine. Shes the best hunter of flys, mosquitoes, spiders, and any kind of bug she sees. She catches and leaves never to see that bug again. She handles it out if sight.. weird right? On the hunt every morning noon and night I let her out and she gracefully jumps the 4 foot fence even tho shes only 12 lbs and she runs the whole 2.5 achres from 1 end to the other looking for anything if she can chase. . Skunk. (Never been sprayed) shes fast! Racoon. Never been bitten. Shes fast,! And when she sees a chicken ...you say no no little bear and she comes right back and smiles that cheesy grin! Oh shes such a good girl. But I have to rehome her and ,I would love visits if possible. ! Im crying writing this. Story to continue.. ok i need more room.
