Story
IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POST, I AM STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER FAMILY Meet Freddy! He is 6 years old, and a small breed mix. Freddy is playful, cuddly, silly, and a funny boy! He hops on his hind legs to ask to "get up" on the furniture. Once you start to reach for him, he will hop up on his own! Freddy will also spin around when he’s excited, and he’ll try and catch his tail! If you’re looking for a dog that will make you laugh, Freddy might be just the one! He’s been doing well on his basic manners with his foster family, and he is potty trained. Freddy is fostered with several other small dogs, and he has gotten along well. He has not met a cat with us or his previous home. Freddy seems to love people, and is not currently living with kids but we heard he likes them too! When Freddy first arrived he got over excited over walks, his leash, and cars but he is getting better and better with more practice! We would love to find him a family willing to take him on regular walks. He’d love a dog playmate or a person wanting to play with him! Freddy has also previously lived in an apartment. He hasn’t needed a kennel in his foster home, and will happily sleep on a dog bed. Freddy is fostered in Portland, OR. If he sounds like the silly boy you’ve been looking for, please apply today! Story
IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POST, I AM STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER FAMILY Meet Aurora! This sweet girl is shy at first, but warms up quickly. Aurora is friendly and seeks affection from her people! She does well with women and men, and seems to like older children too! Aurora is a medium energy girl, and we think she is about 2 years old. She weighs 28 lbs. Aurora has previously lived with other dogs, and she loves to play with her dog friends! Aurora’s favorite toys include squeaky toys, rope toys & nyla-bones! She would love to spend lots of time outside with her person in her forever home because she loves sitting outside watching birds and squirrels. Aurora has done great with crate training. She will sleep in there and is learning to go in on command when she hears “kennel”. Aurora will also voluntarily take naps in her crate during the day. She’s been working on her potty training with her foster, and with some positive reinforcement from her adopter we think she will pick up your new routine quickly. Aurora is fostered in Vancouver, WA. She is so sweet and a great companion. Have you been looking for the perfect low rider to adopt? Please apply today! Story
Scout is an approximately 2 year old Dachshund mix found wandering in Texas with a Great Pyrenees friend. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and has been playing with a Pyr pup recently. Scout is about 15 pounds of cuteness. He likes cats but they have to be dog tolerant cats who can put him in his place if he gets out of line. He gets along with the cats in his foster home, but he has been slapped a couple times. He is super cute and has the most adorable underbite. He loves to be with you all the time and runs outside every time the door opens. He sleeps on the bed at night and is happy to lay next to you on the couch watching movies. He likes walks and has not had the best life so is looking forward to learning to trust and love. He would like a home with at least one other dog and maybe a cat or two and a nice, fenced yard. Currently, he is fostered with several Great Pyrenees and a Dachshund as well as two kitties. Tail was adopted from a kill shelter in Russia, and brought to the US in 2020 at the age of 9 months. He's now 4 yo. No Health issues, cuddly, playful, loves wearing outfits. He's very friendly and likes to play with other dogs and cats. He's currently living with a cat, they get along wonderfully. Tail comes with $700 bonus along with a dog bed and harness. He was beaten a lot as a puppy by a man and thus needs to gain trust when interacting with some males, but not all. He's 100% fine with kids and females.
