Story
This handsome boy is Nugget and he is one absolutely perfect dog! He is a 6 year old, 18lb, MinPin/Doxy mix that came to us when he was found in a park with a female dog and newborn puppies. They were obviously dumped. The woman who found them reached out to us from the park and we sent a transporter to pick them up. One of our rescue partners took in the mama and her puppies and we took Nugget, the dad. We had him fully vetted and now he is ready to find his forever home. Nugget is such a good dog who transitions into a new home easily. He is quiet and loving, but also independent. He could go into a home with another calm dog or be your one and only. We havent seen him really play with the other dogs but he does coexist with them perfectly. Nugget loves his walks and would absolutely love to have a home with safe/secure yard that he could lounge and sunbathe in. It's his favorite thing to do! Nugget is potty trained with outdoor access and is a great eater! If you are looking for an easy going, mellow dog with lots of love to give....then Nugget might just be the dog for you! Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 360 2580702

Story
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Offa — a tiny Dachshund mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest little face. At around 3 years old and just 8 pounds, Offa is a quiet, sensitive boy who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. When Offa first meets new people, he can be a little shy and unsure, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), his soft and loving personality begins to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys companionship and gentle affection from the people he trusts most. Watching him slowly come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding. Offa is crate trained and does very well in his crate. He is still working on his house training and leash skills, so he’ll need a family willing to continue helping him build confidence and learn routines at his own pace. He responds wonderfully to kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement. This little guy has already been through quite a journey. When he came to us, he was covered in ticks and fleas and clearly had not been given the care he deserved. Thankfully, he received a full veterinary workup, and his bloodwork came back negative for any tick-borne illnesses. He also had a dental cleaning, so his teeth are now squeaky clean and healthy! Offa is looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue to blossom and finally experience the comfort and security every dog deserves. With a little time and understanding, this sweet boy will make a loyal and loving companion. Interested in becoming a forever home for Offa? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Shorty is one of those dogs who makes life easier. At around 3 years old, this sweet dachshund mix has a calm, low-energy personality and loves nothing more than being petted and spending time with his people. He is perfectly content relaxing in the shade, hanging out on the couch, or simply following you from room to room. Shorty gets along wonderfully with other dogs and with cats, including kittens. While he enjoys the company of other animals, he doesn't depend on them and would be just as happy as your one and only pet. He is well past the puppy chaos and has the easygoing personality of a dog who just wants to be loved and included. If you're looking for a loyal companion who won't demand much beyond some affection and a comfortable place to nap, Shorty may be exactly who you've been waiting for. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who gets along well with other pets but doesn't need a busy household to be happy. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $550 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit? Story
Duke is the life of the party and the definition of a happy, playful puppy. This little guy has so much personality packed into his tiny body, and he uses every bit of it to make sure everyone around him is smiling. He’s always on the move, always ready to play, and always looking for his next bit of fun. Duke has that goofy, lovable energy that makes him impossible not to adore. He’ll bounce around with his siblings, zoom across the room, and then suddenly stop to look at you like, “Did you see that?!”—he’s truly a character. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/jooUMvEZY6I?si=F7fPQIw7m0ey7kSO And let’s talk about his true love in life: treats. Duke is completely, unapologetically obsessed. If you have snacks, you instantly become his favorite person. He’ll try his very best to impress you with his puppy charm, and honestly… it works every time. This also makes him incredibly eager to learn and easy to train as he grows. At just around five months old, Duke is still a baby with a big world ahead of him. He’s curious, friendly, and loves being part of the action. He enjoys being around people and would thrive in a home where he can get lots of attention, playtime, and, of course, the occasional treat. Duke is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep your heart full. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, happy companion, Duke is ready to be your best buddy. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69bd8a4ca30bd0bdeb0f604e Questions?
