A kind-hearted rescue foundation stepped in and gave Gary a fighting chance. They funded his medical care, and miraculously, his eyesight was restored. Gary could see again. And oh, how he saw the world—bright, beautiful, and full of hope. Once he was healed, he boarded a freedom ride to Hope Ranch and became an American citizen (with an impressive smile to prove it). But don’t be fooled—Gary didn’t come for fireworks and apple pie. He came for love. And love is what he does best. Gary lives every moment like a gift he’ll never take for granted. Every “good boy,” every cuddle, every treat, every squeaky toy—he soaks it all in with the heart of someone who knows how easily it could’ve been lost. He gives kisses like he means them, and he bonds deeply with everyone he meets. Kids? Loves them. Dogs?
