Story
Hey there, I go by Bagel! I found myself in the care of No Stray Left Behind after being picked up as a stray from a local shelter. They entrusted me to Priceless Pets, where I'm currently on the lookout for my forever home. Although I started off my journey with an adoption as a pup, I was recently brought back due to my high energy levels. I'm hoping to find a home with an active lifestyle, as I thrive in such environments and would make an excellent hiking companion. You'll be glad to know that I'm completely house-trained and get along famously with other dogs, relishing my visits to the dog park. I'm a genuinely affectionate boy bursting with love to share. While I still possess that youthful puppy behavior, I'm also quite clever and eager to please. Some basic training would do wonders for me. Interested? Fill out an online application and swing by the Claremont Adoption Center to say hello! Adoptions operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, so complete an application online at pricelesspetrescue.org to make this animal a cherished member of your family today!

Story
If you are looking for the ultimate derp dog, you’ve come to the right place. Meet Toast! We LOVE this guy and his unbridled zest for life. We’ve never had a dog make us laugh so much! This 1 year old, 40lbs Dalmation/Boxer/Catahoula mix came to us from Maui Humane Society and is a total goofball. He loves everyone and everything. For him, the world is so dang exciting and he wants to take it ALL in! He loves life and is looking for someone who wants to live it up as much as he does. Toast is good with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s crate trained and housebroken. He will sit or lie down for a treat. Toast has the best temperament and is so sweet, but we will shoot straight: he’s a puppy! He is also deaf, but he doesn’t know there’s anything wrong with him, which is quite possibly the most endearing and inspiring thing about him. Plus, his deafness is a bonus because you never have to worry about him barking like a madman if someone knocks on your door, rings your doorbell, or other dogs bark (he can bark, it just generally happens when he plays). Toast would do best in a home with people who are active and/or have a secure backyard that he can zoomie in. He loves to zoomie! A playful dog friend would be awesome, but the most important thing he needs is patient people who are willing to work with him on training while maintaining the same level of positivity and joy he brings to every second of everything he does. If you understand that the best things in life take some effort and you want to adopt a dog that’s going to brighten up your life, please fill out an adoption application on our website. Toast is waiting to be the reason you smile and laugh multiple times a day!
