Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Handsome gentleman Bruno has run into some bad luck again!  He initially became a Cause kid when his owner had to move and could not take their dogs. Luckily he found a loving home and lived a good life for several years. Tragedy struck this poor guy again when his loving human passed away and he came back to Cause for SB Paws. He settled into his new foster home and is now ready to try his luck again. Could you be his forever family? Chocolate German Shorthair Bruno is 11 yrs old and full of boundless energy. He definitely needs a home familiar with the breed or similar breeds. The GSP is known to be '...very athletic, have boundless energy and need to burn it while spending time outdoors. All activities are good: running, walking, swimming, toys retrieving etc. Never forget that even if you are not a hunter, this breed is designed for hunting, and it’s really perfect at it. At the same time they are wonderful family dogs and very protective of a family. They perfectly get on with other animals, get along with people. Great for children.'So an active family is an absolute must, as well as a big yard to run, and other energetic, large breed dogs with which to romp and run and play.See his page here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/animals/browse  Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251   Email cause4sbpaws@gmail.com with questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 7:12 pm

Story
Mookie is only 1 year old, and he looks like a German short haired Pointer/ flat coated retriever blended with maybe even a Catahoula Leopard Dog. His coat is beautiful and the freckles on his feet and on his chest make him a real stand out. He’s long and lanky and definitely has the handsome pointer physique. Mookie is very cheerful and intelligent. He is attentive and loving and really wants to please his family. There’s something irresistible about Mookie – he is sweet, gentle, calm, and silly. He’s active and athletic but not hyper – he’s just a very nice fellow! Mookie is housebroken and crate trained, and he’s fine with kitties and kids, as well as all adults. He’s not a barker and he’s extremely affectionate and loving. He’s not a barker and it’s not a big shedder, and he’s also doesn’t wander off or ever jump fences or dig in the garden. Mookie has a short lovely coat that doesn’t shed much at all. He's sleek and soft. Of course, he’s neutered and up-to-date on all his shots, and I have his med records for his new forever family. I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. We always take our rascals back if it isn’t a good fit. To meet marvelous Mookie and the rest of my foster pups (and maybe even have a sleepover), pls email findabestbuddy@gmail.com or call 858-602-2061 • findabestbuddy@gmail.com • (858) 602-2061
