Story
We rescued this super sweet 2 year old (as of March 2023) boy and he is looking for his forever home. Like many blue-eyed Dalmatians, Pongo is deaf but that will not stop him from being a wonderful and loving companion. He loves people and dogs and he would love a chance to be a part of your family! Pongo gives great hugs to show affection but he will need an experienced adopter who can give him what he needs to thrive. He will benefit from having another dog in the home, around his size, and a properly fenced yard to play in. To find out how to meet this dog please submit an application from our website or email our rescue and adoption center at: adopt@petadoptionfund.org or call (818) 340-1186 For general calls please contact (818) 340-1186.

Story
Hi! My name is Rosie and I'm 10 months old. I was rescued from a backyard breeder out in the San Bernardino area. I wasn't treated very well there, so I'm shy around men at first, but I'm a very sweet, affectionate girl as soon as we meet. I'm very used to kids and get along great with them too! (And let's just say, "I'm not a cat person!") I have very good manners - I'm house trained and even know how to "sit" and "shake"!! I also LOVE to smile! ( I'm looking forward to finding my forever home soon!! Do you think it might be with YOU?

Story
Baloo is a 2.5-year-old Dalmatian mix who is very smart, and VERY goofy. He is an intense sniffer, preferring to spend most of his time with his nose glued to the ground, and if you're not careful he'll wander off while following his nose. He also has a nervous disposition, particularly in new situations, so when Baloo encounters new places or new people/dogs, he prefers to sniff everything out until he is comfortable before breaking out his charming personality. , While Baloo can be very selective with his friends, particularly his dog friends, once he has gotten to know you and accept you, he's fiercely loyal and incredibly loving. Whenever he sees an unexpected friend (dog or human), his tail wags so hard that his body wiggles all over the place and he can barely walk straight. Baloo also gets the zoomies A LOT (did I mention he has a ton of energy?) so he loves to be outside. However, since Baloo gets really attached to his human/dog friends, he doesn't particularly enjoy being out in the yard on his own. He doesn't usually get separation anxiety (although he can in some situations), and he can be left alone for long periods of time, but he generally prefers to go explore with his group of dogs/humans nearby. While Baloo does exhibit some behaviors that would be cause for concern for certain owners, we believe an experienced owner or an owner that is committed to training/has trained in the past to deal with complex dogs would be able to take great care of him. Ultimately, we love Baloo very much and want the best for him, and we know that he can be the perfect dog for someone looking a dog with a lot of love to give who needs a lot of attention and love in return. Story
This is one spectacular puppy! Poor Louis was going to get killed at a shelter because they claimed he had Parvo. At the last minute he was saved and taken to our vet for treatment. It was there that he tested negative and never needed treatment. This is such a kind, sweet and loving boy. So sweet, that God gave him a HeART shaped nose with a little bone shaped marking. He is between 5-6 months old and weighs less than 30 pounds. He will be a perfectly sized medium dog. Great family dog for sure. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Story
HI - I'M JOHNNY, and I need a foster or forever home! Do you need a best friend? I'm an 8- to 9-year-old pointer-lab-pit mix waiting for a foster or forever home. My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I love scratches and affection! I'm quite strong and get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I get along with some dogs, but I really want to be the top dog in the home with one person by my side. I'm still in great health and I'm basically looking for my forever pal to go for walks, hikes or simply watch TV. I weigh 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email me for an application.

Story
MEET LITTLE DUDE & PRINCE! This very unusual bonded pair of seniors lost their home after the landlord said they had to go, for no fault of their own. Little Dude is a 9-year-old Pointer/Pit Bull Terrier, sweet as can be. He weighs 65 lbs. Prince is a 12-year-old Pomeranian mix, and he loves Little Dude so much. Prince weighs about 30 lbs. Little Dude is not a fan of other dogs, so this pair would be best as the only 2 pups in the home. They are currently in need of a foster or forever home. They are still active and healthy. Please email for an application.

Story
HI I'M PANDA! I am a 6-years-young Pointer mix in need of a forever home! (My paperwork says pit mix but I don't look anything like a pittie). I was recently rescued from a high-kill California shelter along with my two puppies, Pepper & Paprika. Paprika was adopted, but Pepper and I are still together, and we are quite bonded. I am a sweet, loving girl, friendly and smart and not too large! I love to explore my surroundings and hang out with Pepper. I love being around people, so would do best in a home where someone works from home or isn't gone too long. I'm not the type of dog that does well if you simply stick me in the backyard, because I want you with me! I would do well with an active person or people who can take me on walks, hikes and other outings. Please email for an application.
