Story
Meet Sparky!, 3 year old Male. I’ve had him since he was 5 weeks old. I’m having trouble taking care of him due to my sudden health condition. I became bed ridden and I’m not able to care for him like I used to.He has grown up alongside 4 small children. Sparky is patient, calm, playful, loyal, a total cuddle buddy. Great with kids and cats, House trained, Loves to be outdoors (has been camping with us) and does good in the car. Only likes to chew on crayons when he’s alone. He is crate trained As much as rehoming him breaks our family’s heart, we do want what’s best for him.

Story
Meet Florence! Florence is a lovable Dalmatian mix with a heart as big as her smile. If her foster family had to describe her in three words, they'd choose loyal, loving, and cuddly—and once you meet her, you'll see why! This affectionate girl loves just about everyone she meets and is ready to make new friends within minutes. Florence thrives on companionship and will happily shower her people with hugs, snuggles, and plenty of kisses. Whether she's cuddling on the couch, taking a well-earned nap, or following you around the house, she simply loves being near her favorite humans. Florence has a high energy level and enjoys staying active. She loves playing with a ball, romping around with her foster dog siblings, and going on long walks. She's also great with kids and gets along well with other dogs, making her a wonderful candidate for an active family. After a fun-filled day, she's more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality cuddle time. Florence is both crate trained and potty trained, and she already knows basic commands like sit and down. She's currently working on her leash manners and can get excited when she sees other dogs on walks, so she'll benefit from continued training and consistency. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and cuddles, Florence may be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl and see how quickly she'll steal your heart!

Story
Meet Junie! Junie is a young Dalmatian mix with a heart as big as her curiosity. If we had to describe her in three words, they'd be silly, sniffy, and snuggly. This medium-energy girl loves exploring the world through her nose and is happiest when she's close to her people. Whether she's following an interesting scent, soaking up the sunshine, or curled up beside you on the couch, Junie is all about enjoying life's simple pleasures. Junie is friendly with new people and enjoys meeting strangers, though she can be a little cautious in the dark or around unfamiliar noises. She's a sensitive, gentle soul who thrives on calm encouragement and positive reinforcement. She adores scratches, belly rubs, and being spoken to in a reassuring voice. At home, Junie is a total cuddle bug. She loves being in the same room as her people and would happily spend the day snuggling, giving kisses, and supervising kitchen activities from your feet. Her favorite treats are peanut butter and yogurt, and she never passes up a good sunbathing session. Junie has already made great progress with training and knows commands like sit, down, come, wait and off. She's eager to learn but benefits from patience, consistency, and lots of praise. She's also working on her house training and crate training and will do best with a family committed to helping her continue building confidence and skills. With other dogs, Junie has shown friendly interest in smaller dogs and is still learning to feel comfortable around larger ones. She was calm and curious around a cat at the vet, though she does very interested in squirrels and other small critters. Junie is a loving, loyal girl who wants nothing more than to be part of a family. If you're looking for a sweet companion who will keep you laughing, shower you with affection, and always be by your side, Junie may be your perfect match.

Story
My name is Patches and I am a 1-year-old supposedly half Golden Retriever who weighs 40 pounds. Apparently my mom was a Golden and my dad was a Dalmatian… but honestly, who knows?! What I can tell you for certain is that I am 100% GOOD DOG. You may be wondering how I ended up with a Golden Retriever rescue. Well, here’s my story... I was rescued with my sister Sophia. She looks a lot more like our mom than I do and we are best friends. Sophia has some medical things the wonderful volunteers at GRCGLA Rescue offered to help her with. The problem was, if Sophia left, I would have been all alone out in a dirt yard with nobody to keep me company. It was okay when we had each other because we could cuddle and play and not feel so lonely, but being out there all day and night by myself would have been awful. Sophia and I are so happy to be in rescue together and we are now looking for our forever home. We are truly bonded and the very best of friends. The kind volunteers and caring staff at the vet clinic say we are the sweetest pair they have ever met. We love people, other dogs, belly rubs, toys, treats, and most of all being together. We spend our days playing, exploring, and napping side by side. We have good manners, are eager to please, and are learning all about what it means to be cherished family members. I am a happy-go-lucky gal with a gentle soul and a goofy personality. I can make people laugh with my silly expressions and joyful enthusiasm for life. Sophia is a little more thoughtful and reserved, and together we make the perfect team. Wherever she goes, I am not far behind, and wherever I go, she is right there beside me. What we are looking for is simple: a family that understands how special our bond is and will welcome both of us into their hearts and home. In return, you'll get double the love, double the loyalty, and double the golden-hearted companionship. We have already been through so much together, and now we are hoping our next chapter is the best one yet. Could you be the family we've been waiting for? GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Story
Looking for a handsome gentleman with a heart of gold and a playful spirit? Meet Max!  This 5-year-old Dalmatian mix is the ultimate triple threat: smart, silly, and incredibly sweet. At the perfect size for both adventures and cuddles, Max is house-trained, well-mannered, and a total pro at "crate life"—he absolutely loves his cozy sanctuary! Why you’ll fall in love with Max: Social Butterfly: He enjoys the company of other dogs and is even cool with feline friends!  Smarty Pants: He’s eager to please, a quick learner, and ready to show off his skills. Expert Napper: After a day of play, he’s the best companion for a quiet evening at home. While Max prefers to keep his favorite toys all to himself and would thrive best in a "grown-up" home without young kids, he is a loyal, friendly guy through and through. Max is looking for a patient human who can help him continue building his confidence in the big wide world. Because he has a little bit of a shy side in public, he’s looking for a teammate to show him the ropes. In return, he promises a lifetime of goofy smiles, wagging tails, and unwavering loyalty.   Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. Story
Meet Oreo – A Loving Dalmatian Looking for Her Forever Family    Name: Oreo Age: 2 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Dalmatian Weight: 19 kg (42 lbs) Height: 55 cm (22 in)   Rescue Story   Oreo was brought to a municipal shelter with numerous wounds covering her body, and sadly, part of her tail had become necrotic due to untreated injuries. Despite everything she has been through, she has never lost her love for people and continues to greet the world with an incredibly happy heart.    Personality with People   If you’re looking for a dog who absolutely adores people, Oreo is your girl.   She loves everyone—family, friends, and complete strangers alike. She happily walks up to new people, leans against them for affection, squeezes between their legs for cuddles, and often asks to be hugged even during a first meeting. She loves both men and women and is so trusting that she’ll happily roll over to show her belly to someone she’s just met.   She can easily be picked up by placing an arm under her belly and is always eager to receive love and attention.    Dog Social Skills   Oreo is extremely social with other dogs and is always excited to make new friends. She eagerly approaches unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play.   The only catch? She doesn’t always realize when another dog isn’t interested!   Smaller dogs, in particular, sometimes find her enthusiasm overwhelming, but Oreo simply keeps trying to convince them to join the fun. If another dog won’t play with her, she’ll often bark as if saying, “Come on, let’s play!”   She has no aggression toward other dogs and tends to avoid conflict even if another dog challenges her. She generally gets along best with dogs of similar size who enjoy active play, and she especially loves energetic playmates who are happy to wrestle and run around together.    Cats   When Oreo sees cats during walks, she watches them out of curiosity but follows her handler without issue when redirected.    Energy Level   Oreo has a moderate energy level, but as a Dalmatian, she’ll thrive with an active family that can provide regular exercise and mental enrichment.   She enjoys walks, running, and outdoor adventures, but once she’s had enough activity, she settles down nicely indoors and enjoys long naps.   Oreo is genetically deaf, which is not uncommon in Dalmatians. She has adapted well to her condition and lives a happy, confident life. In fact, because she can’t hear surrounding noises, she’s quite a sound sleeper!   Her future family should be willing to communicate through visual cues, hand signals, and consistent routines.    Walking   Oreo is an experienced walker who generally stays with her handler without excessive pulling. She may occasionally pull toward something that catches her interest, but she remains manageable and responsive.   She also loves to run and would enjoy an active lifestyle.    Additional Information   Very food motivated but does not guard food from people or other dogs. Vocal when she wants to play with other dogs that won’t include her. May bark to ask for attention when she wants to reach people but is blocked by a door or barrier. Rides quietly in a kennel, although she may bark if she sees people and wants to come out. Currently potty trained for outdoor elimination.   Oreo’s joyful personality is truly infectious. She has an enormous heart, loves everyone she meets, and simply wants to be included in whatever her people are doing. She would be a wonderful companion for an active family that appreciates an affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving dog.   Could Oreo be the missing spot in your family?
