Story
Meet Florence! Florence is a lovable Dalmatian mix with a heart as big as her smile. If her foster family had to describe her in three words, they'd choose loyal, loving, and cuddly—and once you meet her, you'll see why! This affectionate girl loves just about everyone she meets and is ready to make new friends within minutes. Florence thrives on companionship and will happily shower her people with hugs, snuggles, and plenty of kisses. Whether she's cuddling on the couch, taking a well-earned nap, or following you around the house, she simply loves being near her favorite humans. Florence has a high energy level and enjoys staying active. She loves playing with a ball, romping around with her foster dog siblings, and going on long walks. She's also great with kids and gets along well with other dogs, making her a wonderful candidate for an active family. After a fun-filled day, she's more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality cuddle time. Florence is both crate trained and potty trained, and she already knows basic commands like sit and down. She's currently working on her leash manners and can get excited when she sees other dogs on walks, so she'll benefit from continued training and consistency. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, laughter, and cuddles, Florence may be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet girl and see how quickly she'll steal your heart!

Story
My name is Patches and I am a 1-year-old supposedly half Golden Retriever who weighs 40 pounds. Apparently my mom was a Golden and my dad was a Dalmatian… but honestly, who knows?! What I can tell you for certain is that I am 100% GOOD DOG. You may be wondering how I ended up with a Golden Retriever rescue. Well, here’s my story... I was rescued with my sister Sophia. She looks a lot more like our mom than I do and we are best friends. Sophia has some medical things the wonderful volunteers at GRCGLA Rescue offered to help her with. The problem was, if Sophia left, I would have been all alone out in a dirt yard with nobody to keep me company. It was okay when we had each other because we could cuddle and play and not feel so lonely, but being out there all day and night by myself would have been awful. Sophia and I are so happy to be in rescue together and we are now looking for our forever home. We are truly bonded and the very best of friends. The kind volunteers and caring staff at the vet clinic say we are the sweetest pair they have ever met. We love people, other dogs, belly rubs, toys, treats, and most of all being together. We spend our days playing, exploring, and napping side by side. We have good manners, are eager to please, and are learning all about what it means to be cherished family members. I am a happy-go-lucky gal with a gentle soul and a goofy personality. I can make people laugh with my silly expressions and joyful enthusiasm for life. Sophia is a little more thoughtful and reserved, and together we make the perfect team. Wherever she goes, I am not far behind, and wherever I go, she is right there beside me. What we are looking for is simple: a family that understands how special our bond is and will welcome both of us into their hearts and home. In return, you'll get double the love, double the loyalty, and double the golden-hearted companionship. We have already been through so much together, and now we are hoping our next chapter is the best one yet. Could you be the family we've been waiting for? GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Story
Looking for a handsome gentleman with a heart of gold and a playful spirit? Meet Max!  This 5-year-old Dalmatian mix is the ultimate triple threat: smart, silly, and incredibly sweet. At the perfect size for both adventures and cuddles, Max is house-trained, well-mannered, and a total pro at "crate life"—he absolutely loves his cozy sanctuary! Why you’ll fall in love with Max: Social Butterfly: He enjoys the company of other dogs and is even cool with feline friends!  Smarty Pants: He’s eager to please, a quick learner, and ready to show off his skills. Expert Napper: After a day of play, he’s the best companion for a quiet evening at home. While Max prefers to keep his favorite toys all to himself and would thrive best in a "grown-up" home without young kids, he is a loyal, friendly guy through and through. Max is looking for a patient human who can help him continue building his confidence in the big wide world. Because he has a little bit of a shy side in public, he’s looking for a teammate to show him the ropes. In return, he promises a lifetime of goofy smiles, wagging tails, and unwavering loyalty.   Thank you for wanting to adopt from Hank's Legacy Foundation. Story
Baloo is a 2.5-year-old Dalmatian mix who is very smart, and VERY goofy. He is an intense sniffer, preferring to spend most of his time with his nose glued to the ground, and if you're not careful he'll wander off while following his nose. He also has a nervous disposition, particularly in new situations, so when Baloo encounters new places or new people/dogs, he prefers to sniff everything out until he is comfortable before breaking out his charming personality. , While Baloo can be very selective with his friends, particularly his dog friends, once he has gotten to know you and accept you, he's fiercely loyal and incredibly loving. Whenever he sees an unexpected friend (dog or human), his tail wags so hard that his body wiggles all over the place and he can barely walk straight. Baloo also gets the zoomies A LOT (did I mention he has a ton of energy?) so he loves to be outside. However, since Baloo gets really attached to his human/dog friends, he doesn't particularly enjoy being out in the yard on his own. He doesn't usually get separation anxiety (although he can in some situations), and he can be left alone for long periods of time, but he generally prefers to go explore with his group of dogs/humans nearby. While Baloo does exhibit some behaviors that would be cause for concern for certain owners, we believe an experienced owner or an owner that is committed to training/has trained in the past to deal with complex dogs would be able to take great care of him. Ultimately, we love Baloo very much and want the best for him, and we know that he can be the perfect dog for someone looking a dog with a lot of love to give who needs a lot of attention and love in return. Story
PONGO is a lovely 12 month old Dalmatian with lots of energy. He is a strong boy, so is best to walk on a no-pull harness. He may have a little bit of Greyhound in him, given his larger size, as he is 62 pounds. PONGO is very intelligent, protective, is a love bug, has a huge heart, listens to commands, and is cuddly, playful, loyal, and ready to bond. He is house trained and comfortable in a crate for short periods. He is protective and careful, and may bark at new people, but then he wants to be friends. Pongo is dog friendly (as you can see in the photo with his two Dalmatian friends), but needs a few slow introductions before friendship is established. Like some Dalmatians, he can be a little nippy/reactive (no biting at all) when suddenly startled or scared by something. PONGO is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and current on flea/tick/worm medications. For more information and to meet PONGO please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal donation/sponsorship email address)
