Story
Introducing Buffalo, the charming 3-month-old, 11 pounder, with the prettiest eyes and the cutest wiggle butt with a stumpy tail! Buffalo is the most outgoing, confident little pup we've had the chance to see! He's got no hesitation when it comes to greeting every visitor with the most adorable combination of kisses, wiggles, and tiny tail wags! Buffalo is always eager to accompany people with whatever they're doing! Whether it's photoshoots (he's a pro!), walks, cuddles, naps, car rides, you NAME it and he loves it! When it's time to unwind, Buffalo is more than happy to join you for some relaxing snoozes on the couch, where he can recharge for more 15 minute play sessions! His playtime typically consists of wrestling, treat games, or a little bit of fetch! Then he's knocked out like it's nobody's business! He loves the company of other dogs when given the freedom of puppy dog playgroup, and he tends to be the puppy that helps get others to become more confident, like him! We love this little dude here! My adoption fee is only $310! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter! Think I might be the right fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!! DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following: Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level) Source documents from which to analyze characteristics Consultation with other staff

Story
Miss Bubalus, a darling girl. Sporting a merely 35 hearty pounds, every bit made up by love, (and lots of treats) Whether you've got 2 legs or 4, Bubalus is sure to be your pal, following you as she can, just for a pat on the head and 'good girl', or to look at you with her big brown eyes, and one being lighter than the other just melts your heart! When she's far too relaxed to be a velcro-pup, you'll often find her asleep on the meet and greet sofa, with her ears at half-staff, looking adorable. One thing that immediately stuck out to me with Bubalus, is how quickly she takes guidance and direction (her big ol bunny ears aren't just for show!) She really has a fine-tuned sense of desire when it comes to making anyone happy. Whether it's some good cuddles on the sofa, playing some games like fetch, or tug, or even just resting at your feet while you're busy doing some chores around the house. Bubalus truly is happy to join you, and be guided to do whatever you'd like her to! Bubalus has her basic obedience solidified, does very well on-leash, loves car rides, naps together, is crate-trained, house-trained, and ADORES all the cuddles she can get from people! With other dogs, this girl is very confident socially, trips to the dog park to wear off any energy, or even just for fun, and she will be sure to be the star! As adorable, sweet, and docile as they come, Bubalus is ready to find her place in just about any home! My adoption fee is only $210! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter! Think I might be the right fit for your home? Story
Say hello to our wonderful boy Oliver! Hansome Ollie came in as a stray, so we don't know a ton about him, though we have done some investigating and found out some information! Oliver is a young dalmatian mixed with a pittie. He arrived in rather rough shape, with many scars on his face and head and MANY fly bites. We can only imagine what he went through prior to becoming an HSNWIA resident, so we are thankful that he is here. He is a very sweet boy who loves everyone! He doesn't have a ton of manners, so his adopter must be willing to work with him! He gets along great with other dogs and cannot wait to find his forever home! Oliver is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered. If you are interested in him, please submit an adoption application, which can be found on our website: humanesocietyofnwia.com.

Hallo Mate!!! I am the EPITOME of Australian Kelpie dogs, smart and agreeable, loving and playful, driven and very treat oriented! And I am a GREAT size!! Now, my life has not always been AWESOME BLOSSOM, if you know what I mean?? I was found in the valley with basically NO HAIR, but a magnetic and charming personality that won over a nice lady who saved me!!! AND my charm won over the rescuer in San Antonio who took a chance on me, and I won the doggy lottery!! I mean, look at me now!! I am a hairy boy, with meat on my bones and love in my heart! READY to take the plunge with my FUREVER family!! I am super smart and need an active family. I will do anything you want me to, if it is followed by the treats I love! :) And I will make some great arm candy when you are out on the trails, or at the beach or in the mountains... or all three! ADOPT ME!!! I will keep you company wherever you go!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Baez or Baezy Boy (b. 10/2019), a handsome Dalmatian, is looking for a forever home. Baez is being rehomed because, well, he doesn't know his size. He gets excited and accidentally pushes down the little kids. He would do best in a home with older children (10 years old and older please) or none at all. He needs a fenced-in yard to run out his energy, but you will have to watch so he doesn't dig to the center of the earth. While outside he is a professional fetch player and would love a friend to throw his toys for him! He would not do well in an apartment because he does not like to be away from his people and tends to sing his troubles away. He doesn't like his kennel because he wants to be around his people. He thinks he is a lap dog and a huge lover, like for real, this dog loves cuddles more then life. He loves the ladies and prefers to be in their company. In regards to other canine friends in the home, Baez is open to the idea. He does prefer the calmer canine friends though! If you are ready to show Baez all the attention and all the scratches behind his ears, then please put that application in.   Baez can be shy, and due to this will require multiple introductions to ensure he is comfortable! The suggested adoption donation for Baez is $350. Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2021 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $307,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.  Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page, Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. ##1549355##
