Story
Dottie is a 3 year old pure-bread Dalmatian that comes from a house with 4 children. She is approximentaly 65 lbs and stands around 23-24 inches tall. While she is very loving of her owners and people she knows, she can be very protective around people who she does not know. She currently lives on a farm with space to run and roam but her family will be relocating where she will be confined to a very small, fenced yard. She is house broken, crate broken and leash trained. She has stayed at boarding facilities but does not like them or do well with them. She is a high energy dog that would do great with a homebody.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me! DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Daisy is 6 years old and weighs 60lbs.  She is up to date on her vaccines, is spayed, and is microchipped.  Daisy has received basic obedience training and has great off-leash recall.  She's naturally skiddish and loud noises around the house will startle her.  Daisy also loves car rides. Daisy's guardian states why he is rehoming her:  "Living situation has changed.  Needs to be in the care of someone who can provide more attention to her." Daisy's guardian states the following about children:  She hasn't lived with children.  Her guardian wouldn't be concerned with children unless a child is her primary caregiver, as she's indifferent to children. Daisy's guardian states the following about dogs:  She has lived with other dogs, but doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating she can live with other dogs, but prefers to be in a single pet household. Daisy's guardian states the following about cats:  She has never lived cats or otherwise been around cats, so her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats. Daisy's guardian describes her future ideal home:  "Family or individual that enjoys being outdoors, hiking, playing fetch, etc., very well mannered on and off leash. Story
Greetings from my corner of the world! I'm proud to carry the name Daphne, inspired by the sweet and sassy caretaker from the iconic TV show, Frasier. Just like her, I'm petite, beautiful, and yes, sweet and sassy to the core. I must also mention our shared affinity for perpetually flashing our heartwarming smiles! I come in a compact 35-pound package of pure love and a wagging tail that never quits. People are my jam - I adore everyone I meet. You'll often find me engaging with older and younger dogs, bringing boundless enthusiasm to every interaction. My fur is as soft as a cloud, and my distinctive muzzle makes me a real head-turner. It's possible I have a touch of Rottweiler and a dash of Kelpie in my genes, resulting in the perfect hiking companion - easy to take along wherever you roam. My gracious demeanor extends to my older foster friends, as I'm incredibly respectful of their space and patience. I also have a blast when I'm out playing with my younger foster pal, ensuring I stay active and happy. I dream of a home brimming with love and friends of all shapes and sizes. I can be your little partner-in-crime, and if you fancy dressing me up, I'm your canvas. Don't keep me waiting; I won't linger around forever! With love and enthusiasm, Daphne Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
