Story
Jolie is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart as big as her smile. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to take things at her own pace, but once she gets to know you, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. One of her favorite things in the world is hearing her favorite volunteer call out `Jo-Leeee!`—the moment she hears it, her face lights up with the happiest grin. This lovely lady is wonderfully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent manners on a harness. Jolie absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the neighborhood, where she can sniff every interesting scent and enjoy the fresh air. Her dream day is packed with outdoor adventures, followed by a cool spot inside for a relaxing nap before she`s ready to head out again. She also rides nicely in the car, though she may be a little nervous at first.Jolie has some adorable quirks that make her extra special. Before settling down to sleep, she carefully scratches and arranges her bed or blanket until it`s just right. If she needs something, she`ll gently nudge you with her nose, and when dinner is taking too long, she`ll politely offer a paw as a reminder. She`s also quite the conversationalist and will happily `talk` to let you know when she`s ready for another walk or needs your attention. After you come home, expect an enthusiastic welcome complete with happy jumps and an immediate roll onto her back for one of her favorite things—belly rubs! She enjoys toys most when her people join in for a game of fetch or tug-of-war.Jolie is looking for a patient adopter who will continue helping her feel safe and successful. She is happiest as the only dog in the home, as seeing unfamiliar dogs on walks can be overwhelming for her. With thoughtful management and a family who understands her needs, Jolie settles into a calm, affectionate companion who thrives on routine and loves spending time with her people. In return, you`ll gain a smart, loyal best friend who will happily accompany you on every walk and adventure before curling up nearby at the end of the day.

Story
Current Location: Ijamsville, MD Meet Toliver! 🐾 I’m Toliver, a striking 3-year-old Dalmatian ready to bring spots of joy into your life! At a handsome 46 pounds, I'm a friendly, neutered guy who is already house-trained and great on a leash, making our daily walks together an absolute breeze. I'm an incredibly affectionate companion who loves being close to my people. Because I value feeling safe and secure, I’m looking for an adults-only home or one with older children that can provide me with a calm environment. Someone(s) that understand I can be a little nervous when meeting new faces at first, but once I warm up, my loving side shines right through. I also enjoy the company of other dogs! I just need slow, structured introductions to canine pals so we can build a great relationship at a comfortable pace. If you're ready for a rewarding partnership with a wonderful, loyal pup, come meet me and let's start our adventure together! This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Story
PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org. 🎸 Mick Wagger here... and yes, I rock. Before you ask... yes, I know I'm ridiculously handsome. Between my striking eyes, my one-of-a-kind eye patch, and my adorably floppy ears, I tend to turn a few heads wherever I go. What can I say? I was born to be a star. I'm about 10 months old, weigh around 45 pounds, and my people think I'm a Catahoula/Lab mix. That means I'm smart, athletic, and always up for a good time—but don't worry, I'm not one of those dogs who needs to run a marathon before breakfast. I'd call myself medium energy. I'm just as happy going for a nice walk as I am hanging out with my favorite people afterward. One of my favorite things? Making friends! I love other dogs and have a sweet, easygoing personality that makes me a great companion. Whether we're exploring the neighborhood, playing in the yard, or relaxing at home, I'm simply happy to be part of the fun. I'm still young, so I'm excited to keep learning and discovering the world with my forever family. All I need is a little love, a few treats, and someone willing to tell me what a good boy I am (which, let's be honest, won't be hard). So if you've been looking for a loyal sidekick with rock-star looks and an even bigger heart, your search is officially over. You can't always get what you want... but if you adopt me, you just might find you get exactly what you need. Love, Mick Wagger 🐾🎸

Story
Meet Oakley! This adorable 8-week-old puppy is bursting with love, energy, and curiosity. She’s an Aussimation—a unique mix of Australian Shepherd and Dalmatian. Oakley combines the best qualities of both breeds: her striking blue and green Aussie eyes and her short, soft Dalmatian-like fur, beautifully patterned with a blend of both heritages.   With Oakley, you truly get the best of both worlds. She is incredibly sweet and outgoing, loving everyone she meets—no one is a stranger to her. Larger dogs don’t faze her, and she’s even growing up alongside kittens. When you welcome Oakley into your four-legged family, you can be confident she’ll get along with everyone.   Oakley is always ready to play and would thrive with an active family, especially one with an older canine sibling to keep her company. She will make a wonderful family dog. As Oakley grows, she’ll need a lively household that keeps her engaged, along with plenty of structure and exercise. If you’re a runner or hiker, Oakley will be the perfect companion. She loves being by your side wherever you go and wants nothing more than to be a true member of the family, with her loyalty growing right along with her.   Oakley will also thrive with a job to do and will benefit from ongoing training. Keeping both her body and mind active is essential for her happiness.   To learn more about adopting Oakley please email Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311.  Approved application and adoption fee required.  Oakley is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.  Oakley will be ready to travel when she completes her vetting at the end of August.August 5, 2026, 12:26 pm
