She is ready to start he life and become the puppy she never got to be. She is a sweet girl who loves cuddles and being right next to her people for pets. She loves going on hikes with volunteers and is always down for adventure! She adores kids and knows to be gentle when greeting them. She would make a wonderful addition to any family. KNOWN WITH DOGS: Fancy does great with other dogs when properly introduced. KNOWN WITH CATS: Fancy would do best in a home without cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Fancy is amazing with kids of all ages! Amira is a goofy girl who absolutely loves her people! She’s happiest when she’s right by your side—whether you’re doing chores around the house or settling in for a movie night, she’ll be there keeping you company. Amira does great with other dogs and kids, and she loves playing tug-of-war with her dog friends or proudly carrying a stuffy around like it’s her prized possession. Food is definitely one of her favorite things! When it’s time to eat, she gets so excited she’ll bounce all the way to her kennel like a little bucking bronco. She knows how to sit, and when you ask her to “down,” she’ll happily flop right onto her back. Amira walks on a leash and does well, though she can occasionally get nervous and put on the brakes—but a few treats and some encouragement get her moving again. She’s ready for her forever home and would do great as an only dog or with canine siblings. Amira is just looking for a family to love—and to stick close to forever. Weighing around 30–35 lbs, she’s the perfect medium size for just about any family. She loves everyone she meets and is always greeting the world with her signature butt wag. Merry did wonderfully meeting other dogs and people, showing a submissive, easygoing demeanor with other dogs (at least during a small-store outing). With people, she’s incredibly gentle and affectionate. Merry seems to enjoy car rides, walks nicely on leash, does well in her crate, and appears to be housetrained. At home, one of her favorite pastimes is sitting on the back of the sofa, quietly looking out the window and taking in the world. Merry arrived in foster care with her three puppies and has been a devoted mama. Two of her pups are still searching for their forever homes as well. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.
