Story
Jolie is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart as big as her smile. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to take things at her own pace, but once she gets to know you, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. One of her favorite things in the world is hearing her favorite volunteer call out `Jo-Leeee!`—the moment she hears it, her face lights up with the happiest grin. This lovely lady is wonderfully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent manners on a harness. Jolie absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the neighborhood, where she can sniff every interesting scent and enjoy the fresh air. Her dream day is packed with outdoor adventures, followed by a cool spot inside for a relaxing nap before she`s ready to head out again. She also rides nicely in the car, though she may be a little nervous at first.Jolie has some adorable quirks that make her extra special. Before settling down to sleep, she carefully scratches and arranges her bed or blanket until it`s just right. If she needs something, she`ll gently nudge you with her nose, and when dinner is taking too long, she`ll politely offer a paw as a reminder. She`s also quite the conversationalist and will happily `talk` to let you know when she`s ready for another walk or needs your attention. After you come home, expect an enthusiastic welcome complete with happy jumps and an immediate roll onto her back for one of her favorite things—belly rubs! She enjoys toys most when her people join in for a game of fetch or tug-of-war.Jolie is looking for a patient adopter who will continue helping her feel safe and successful. She is happiest as the only dog in the home, as seeing unfamiliar dogs on walks can be overwhelming for her. With thoughtful management and a family who understands her needs, Jolie settles into a calm, affectionate companion who thrives on routine and loves spending time with her people. In return, you`ll gain a smart, loyal best friend who will happily accompany you on every walk and adventure before curling up nearby at the end of the day.

He greets the world with enthusiasm and charm and loves everyone he meets, both people and dogs. This love bug brings playful energy when it's time to move, then happily settles in on his dog bed once the fun winds down. Home Manners and Training He rides well in the car, eats very well, and does well in his crate. He is treat motivated and already knows sit and no. He enjoys learning, especially when food and praise are involved, making training sessions rewarding and fun. Playful and Social Carlos loves spending time with other dogs and is socialized and great with people. He loves to play hard, running in a yard and playing with a soft toy. He'll even play fetch! He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard for off leash play or with an active person who enjoys walks, hiking, or outdoor adventures. With his medium energy level, he doesn't require marathon outings, just good quality time and movement. He would do best in a home where he is included in the daily activities of his family. Story
Current Location: Vienna, VA Meet Jack! 🐾 Looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, keep you company, and proudly show off his newest tricks? Jack is an approximately 11-week-old puppy with a heart full of love and a personality that shines. He's a playful, curious little guy who enjoys exploring the world, chasing toys, and making new friends. Jack has done wonderfully with other dogs in his foster home and loves having canine companions to play with and learn from. Like all puppies his age, Jack is still learning the ropes, but he's off to a fantastic start. He is doing well with potty training and is learning more every day with consistency and positive reinforcement. One of Jack's favorite things? Showing off his new skill: SIT! He recently mastered the command and couldn't be prouder of himself. If treats are involved, he'll happily demonstrate his talent again and again. Watching his excitement when he earns praise is impossible not to love. When playtime is over, Jack enjoys settling in close to his people for snuggles and companionship. He has the perfect mix of puppy energy and sweetness that makes him a joy to foster. Jack is looking for a family ready to continue his training, provide plenty of love, and help him grow into the amazing dog he's already showing signs of becoming. Could Jack be the missing piece of your family? Apply to adopt Jack through and come meet this smart, playful, and lovable boy!

Story
Bikini came to us from a small rural shelter where her chances of getting out were very slim. She is a 3 yr old pit/catahoula mix and don’t let her breeds fool you. She’s a total couch potato! She has her moments of zoomies but they don’t last long. While she does live in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, she is the queen bee and can be a little bossy so she is looking for a home with no other dogs. She loves all people she meets and she is a very sweet girl. She has good doggie manners but needs some work on her leash training. She is a puller on the leash but we’ve seen a lot of improvement with the ez walk harness. Bikini is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay. If you are interested in adopting Bikini complete the adoption application at the link below.
