We haven't seen them with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Violeta is Looking For: Her forever home! Violeta landed in the shelter in Puerto Rico through no fault of her own is now coming to the DC area to get her new humans. She's eager to explore it with her new family. Sniffy walks and romps in parks and cuddles - that's high on her list, along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say?
