Story
Meet Noelle—a breathtaking 4-year-old purebred Dalmatian with a heart as beautiful as her spotted coat. At 58 pounds, Noelle is the complete package. She is house-trained, crate trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has a calm, affectionate personality that makes her an absolute joy to be around. After losing her beloved owner, Noelle found herself without a home through no fault of her own. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, ensuring she received everything she needed, including being spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and confirmed heartworm negative. She is healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start. What makes Noelle truly exceptional is her temperament. Every veterinary professional who has met her has commented on how incredibly sweet and well-mannered she is. In fact, four different medical professionals independently said she is the sweetest Dalmatian they’ve ever worked with. She adores people, loves being part of whatever you’re doing, and will happily accompany you on walks, road trips, or quiet evenings at home. She does best with male dogs and may be selective with female dogs. If you’ve been searching for a loyal, affectionate companion and appreciate the wonderful qualities of the Dalmatian breed, Noelle is ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and plenty of smiles. To learn more about adopting Noelle, please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Sometimes the perfect dog is simply waiting for her second chance.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 23, 2026, 5:01 pm

Story
Jolie is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart as big as her smile. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to take things at her own pace, but once she gets to know you, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. One of her favorite things in the world is hearing her favorite volunteer call out “Jo-Leeee!”—the moment she hears it, her face lights up with the happiest grin. This lovely lady is wonderfully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent manners on a leash. Jolie absolutely loves going on walks and hikes, whether it’s a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a longer outdoor adventure. After her exercise, she’s happy to relax at home, finding the coolest spot in the house for a cozy nap.Jolie has some adorable quirks that make her extra special. Before settling down to sleep, she carefully scratches and arranges her bed or blanket until it’s just right. If she needs something, she’ll gently nudge you with her nose, and when dinner is taking too long, she’ll politely offer a paw as a reminder. She enjoys toys most when her people join in for a game of fetch or tug.Jolie is looking for a patient adopter who will continue helping her build confidence. She can be uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs and would do best as the only dog in the home or with very slow, thoughtful introductions. In return, you’ll gain a quiet, low-maintenance, devoted friend who will happily join you on every walk and adventure before curling up nearby at the end of the day.

Please contact Courtney Nobles (courtneyn@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet girl ISO fresh start and love! RILEY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Riley      Best Guess for Breed:   Pointer mix   Best Guess for Age:  4.5 years as of March 2026      SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  42 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs!  We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Riley is Looking For:     Her forever home! This sweet girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. At a bit under five years old, she's past her puppy days but is up for adventure - she's eager for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration with her humans! A cushy dog bed, quality kibble, and lots of snuggles round out her wish list. But most of all she wants to know where she belongs, that she's safe and loved. What do you say? Do you have space in your home and your heart for Riley?   What My Foster Says About Me:  From her overnight foster: 'Riley was such a lovely houseguest on Saturday night! I would describe her as 'cautiously curious'. She was happy to meet new people and dogs, but when it comes to trying new things (i.e. entering new rooms or sniffing things outside), she prefers to dip her toes in slowly. She was kind to every person we have met so far, and loves attention. I don't have a dog of my own, but she did great with 1-on-1 meetings with dogs of all sizes, including a sassy Frenchie. She has a great family dog energy - she has energy for walks and playtime, but is very happy to watch TV on the couch (as long as it includes head scratches!). She was a little tentative to go into the crate, but once she's in, she is very well behaved. Also, she had no accidents in my house! She is a sweet, happy girl, and anyone would be lucky to have her!'   Heartworm information:   Riley is a truly Lucky Dog. She tested positive for heartworms, but has been treated! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. Riley has completed this exercise restriction period.   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:    The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
