Story
Pickles is a wonderful 5 year old hound mix. He was from a rescue in texas and I adopted him at 12 weeks. He loves to snuggle, fetch, walks/hiking, and good with children. He has had nor has any major health issues. He is fully house trained and IS NOT a CHEWER. He has never damaged any furniture or household item. He is a sweet baby boy. Unfortunately I divorced and downsized from a large yard to an apartment. He is doing well however I believe would flourish better larger space with a yard. This is not a decision I take lightly. Please note he has a sister “Abbie” who is also needing a new home. It is ideal for both to go together but not absolute.

Story
Lulu Lulu is an adult 5 year old Pointer mix. Her family adopted her in 2019 and was returned because they had a baby and Lulu just did not understand. Of course she is sad, guarded and trying to figure out what happened and why her family left her. We are working with Lulu, but she could use a placement in a patient and saavy home to help her be a happy dog again.

His favorite things include curling up next to his person, sleeping snuggled in bed all night, getting his ears scratched, belly rubs, and happily chewing on a good bone. He’s confident, playful, and full of personality—the kind of dog who will keep you smiling and make you feel like the center of his world. He does best as the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention he deserves. He’s wonderful with adults and teenagers (not yet tested with little kids) and would thrive with someone willing to continue working on leash manners while enjoying all the love and loyalty he has to give.      This sweet, cuddly boy is ready to be someone’s devoted best friend. Apply today!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
