Hallo Mate!!! I am the EPITOME of Australian Kelpie dogs, smart and agreeable, loving and playful, driven and very treat oriented! And I am a GREAT size!! Now, my life has not always been AWESOME BLOSSOM, if you know what I mean?? I was found in the valley with basically NO HAIR, but a magnetic and charming personality that won over a nice lady who saved me!!! AND my charm won over the rescuer in San Antonio who took a chance on me, and I won the doggy lottery!! I mean, look at me now!! I am a hairy boy, with meat on my bones and love in my heart! READY to take the plunge with my FUREVER family!! I am super smart and need an active family. I will do anything you want me to, if it is followed by the treats I love! :) And I will make some great arm candy when you are out on the trails, or at the beach or in the mountains... or all three! ADOPT ME!!! I will keep you company wherever you go!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13556AGE: approximately 3 yearsESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 78 lbs, with a little to shedKNOWN WITH DOGS: Pongo is not quite sure how to play with other dogs due to a lack of socialization. He is a bit reactive when it comes to meeting dogs while he is on leash. We recommend that Pongo be the only dog in his home or only meet new dogs when he can be given the appropriate time to adjust. Pongo is currently living peacefully with 8 other dogs, but that did require a period of time where he could see, smell and hear them but not approach them.KNOWN WITH CATS: Pongo has had limited exposure to cats and he was reactive from a distanceKNOWN WITH KIDS: Pongo LOVES people of all sizes. More to love him. He is very strong and the kids should not be walking him on leash.KNOWN COMMANDS: Pongo knows sit and down although he is almost always in that position anyway. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Pongo does well in crates and is housebroken. However, he does not use a crate in his foster home as he is not destructive, just purely lazy.KNOWN LIKES: Pongo likes to pets and loves to chew hard bones and toys.KNOWN DISLIKES: Pongo does not like other dogs in his space until he knows them. He really doesn't like bossy dogs at all.ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: You know how they say, "bigger is better"? Well, foster mom disagrees and he is on a mission to shed a few pounds (but he’s still convinced it's all muscle).Pongo's got a smile that could melt butter and a personality as sweet as a cookie. If you're up for lounging around, he's your guy. Pongo is a master cuddler, always ready to soak up the love.Don’t miss out on the chance to welcome this adorable, goofy bundle of joy into your life – hit that apply button now before someone else snags him!

Story
Meet the lovely little Lilly! For being only 2 yrs old, this sweet pup has already led quite an adventurous life! She was found running wild & free in a field down in NC & a good citizen Vet Tech picked her up & brought her to a local rescue. She stayed there briefly before taking a plane ride up to PA & joining us at the Canine Rescue of Central PA (located in Dillsburg). Lilly is now ready to seek out more adventures with a new home & best friend. Lilly is very loving & wants to please but is still learning how to. Living a life on the lam for so long, left Lilly with a playful & energetic spirit, but lacking manners. She has now learned "SIT"!! Lilly is extremely smart & we think this is a new chapter for her learning journey! Lilly does exhibit prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. Given her need for more training, she should be in a home with dog savvy adults and only with older children. We are so excited for Lilly's next adventure! She has so much potential & love just waiting to be unlocked. We often throw on sunglasses around this cutie because her future is just that BRIGHT!! ? Lilly is microchipped, spayed & up-to-date on vaccines. If you are interested in adding Lilly to your family, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org/adoption

Story
Panda is a sweet, curious 4 year old Dalmatian that’s full of life and love. He loves long walks and hikes, his treats, tough chews/bones, and is very loyal to his owner. When he’s off leash he never goes too far, and always comes running back. He was adopted from a private owner at around 2 months old, and had been with his current owner for 4 strong years. In his new home, Panda will need a lot of love, space to play, and a comfy bed. He’s also an excited pet, but has never been aggressive or bitten anyone ever, only playful. He has been trained to sit, lay down, stop, go, but he will need an owner that understands & embraces his natural excitement for life. Panda has never been around small children, only other dogs & cats. He is also house trained.
