SAMMIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! Sammie is a 1 year, 9 month old, 29 pound mixed breed pup.  She is house trained, crate and leash trained.  Sammie needs her size and larger dogs in the home as she is food aggressive with smaller dogs. Sammie is sweet and playful and plays well with other dogs and is great with children.  Older children in the home please, as she likes to jump and play and could knock down a little one. She is a great size for any home! Sammie has been spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and is microchipped.   Her adoption fee of $450includes the transport to PA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after she is adopted.  To apply to adopt Sammie, please go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.  Any questions, email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com.   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Meet the lovely little Lilly! For being only 2 yrs old, this sweet pup has already led quite an adventurous life! She was found running wild & free in a field down in NC & a good citizen Vet Tech picked her up & brought her to a local rescue. She stayed there briefly before taking a plane ride up to PA & joining us at the Canine Rescue of Central PA (located in Dillsburg). Lilly is now ready to seek out more adventures with a new home & best friend. Lilly is very loving & wants to please but is still learning how to. Living a life on the lam for so long, left Lilly with a playful & energetic spirit, but lacking manners. She has now learned "SIT"!! Lilly is extremely smart & we think this is a new chapter for her learning journey! Lilly does exhibit prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. Given her need for more training, she should be in a home with dog savvy adults and only with older children. We are so excited for Lilly's next adventure! She has so much potential & love just waiting to be unlocked. We often throw on sunglasses around this cutie because her future is just that BRIGHT!! ? Lilly is microchipped, spayed & up-to-date on vaccines. If you are interested in adding Lilly to your family, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org/adoption

Beau will be two years old March 26th. He is not aggressive at all. Very hyperactive and requires lots of stimulation. We have a cat and they get along mostly. He does chase neighborhood strays though lol. He knows a few commands sit, stay, come on. He never gets tired. Would be great for someone physically active. Purebred, no paperwork but DNA test confirmed. He is intact but has never been bred. I get many compliments on how beautiful he is.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. You are a good dog and you do just what your person says, rushing through the woods to help that person be the best hunter around, and then you start to slow down and are passed by the younger dogs, because your legs aren't quite as speedy anymore. Your thanks for 2 years of devotion? A trip out a country road and abandonment. After all, that person says, why should I feed and care for an older dog who can't deliver like he used to.  When his foster got him, he was so hungry, but still a good dog, willing to once again show his desire to please his person or family, as long as they don't expect him to win races or catch game. Oh yes, and you feed him. Bonus points for when you love him back when he shows you he has given you his whole heart for life. Bilbo is so grateful for a soft place to lie down and walks just for the joy of smelling the air and shuffling through the leaves at your side. Bilbo gets along well with his current foster dog and loves to play with his toys.  Bilbo is waiting for you patiently. Come soon.NOTE: We know he was an abandoned hunting dog because of the area where he was found and the big, ugly number 27 spray painted on  his side. He didn't even have the dignity of a name. We've made sure that number has been washed off and named him for the Hobbit Bilbo, who was a wise older guy. If you are interested in Bilbo, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 22, 2024, 3:57 pm
