Story
Lily: mixed breed (unknown), 1 year old. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. This bright and ambitious girl is house-broken and crate-trained. Lily loves to play with other dogs and go on walks. She rides well in a vehicle, and her attention is on her human while walking on a leash. Although she is shy and skittish around new people, with a little patience and time, she warms up and wants to be with her human. Due to her boundless energy level, I recommend a fenced yard for her to run around in or an owner who will walk her several times daily. Follow-up training (with Canine Services By Devin) is suggested to keep Lily going in a positive direction and eventually off-leash training if desired. Lily is being fostered in Spring Grove, PA. Story
Jolie is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart as big as her smile. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to take things at her own pace, but once she gets to know you, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. One of her favorite things in the world is hearing her favorite volunteer call out `Jo-Leeee!`—the moment she hears it, her face lights up with the happiest grin. This lovely lady is wonderfully house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent manners on a harness. Jolie absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the neighborhood, where she can sniff every interesting scent and enjoy the fresh air. Her dream day is packed with outdoor adventures, followed by a cool spot inside for a relaxing nap before she`s ready to head out again. She also rides nicely in the car, though she may be a little nervous at first.Jolie has some adorable quirks that make her extra special. Before settling down to sleep, she carefully scratches and arranges her bed or blanket until it`s just right. If she needs something, she`ll gently nudge you with her nose, and when dinner is taking too long, she`ll politely offer a paw as a reminder. She`s also quite the conversationalist and will happily `talk` to let you know when she`s ready for another walk or needs your attention. After you come home, expect an enthusiastic welcome complete with happy jumps and an immediate roll onto her back for one of her favorite things—belly rubs! She enjoys toys most when her people join in for a game of fetch or tug-of-war.Jolie is looking for a patient adopter who will continue helping her feel safe and successful. She is happiest as the only dog in the home, as seeing unfamiliar dogs on walks can be overwhelming for her. With thoughtful management and a family who understands her needs, Jolie settles into a calm, affectionate companion who thrives on routine and loves spending time with her people. In return, you`ll gain a smart, loyal best friend who will happily accompany you on every walk and adventure before curling up nearby at the end of the day.

Story
Meet our spotted boy, Guinness! He was surrendered to us after his family could no longer care for him, and he would love to be part of a family again. He may be a little older at 7 years old, but don’t let his age fool you- this boy is still spunky! He does well with a calm canine companion, but he needs a home without cats. He is crate trained and house trained, too! He does well with older children that respect his space.    If you’re looking for a fun and loving Dalmatian to add to your family, Guinness may be your guy!  Guinness is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. He is available for adoption at the Pet Pantry's main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster. If you think he may be the purrfect match for your family please fill out an adoption application! Applications are available at our location as well as online at petpantrylc.org. From there, our adoption coordinator will be in touch!August 23, 2026, 1:25 pm

Story
CASPER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED!    Hi, my name is Casper, and I am a very sweet, playful, energetic neutered boy.  I am a dalmation/pit mix, with one blue eye and one brown eye. I am about 2 years old. I am crate trained and have had no accidents in the house. I am strong, but my foster dad has taught me to walk on a leash. I really enjoy this exercise and time of bonding. I am a medium sized dog at a little less than 50 pounds. I enjoy the outdoors in a safe, fenced yard, but I am mainly an indoor dog. Won't you please consider adding me to your family? He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Casper up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Casper here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Marshall arrived at the shelter severely underweight and anemic. He was put on a slow re-feeding program and given support for his anemia. Marshall slowly gained weight and now that he is at a healthy weight and the anemia is resolved, he is now ready to find his loving forever home! Marshall is a sweet guy that will `grin` when he meets you although he does not mean it in an aggressive way. He loves to go on walks and loves to be with his people! He would do best in a home without cats and would do best in a home with older children. He loves attention and enjoys his food! A knowledge of and experience with the Dalmatian breed would be best for his potential adopters. He would love to find his loving forever home soon! Marshall has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm/lyme tested (negative), and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
