She’s skittish and shy at first, especially with new people, but will greet you calmly with a soft, wagging tail once she warms up. Her personality is quiet, calm, and incredibly loving. Kelli enjoys relaxing and will occasionally play with her favorite bone. She’s currently learning to overcome some fears — stairs and walks can be scary — but she’s making steady progress with patience and encouragement. She would do well with like-minded, calm dogs who respect her space. Due to her shy nature, Kelli Bear would do best in a home with older children who understand gentle interactions. With time, love, and consistency, she will continue to blossom into a wonderful, loyal companion.

Once a frightened stray, Dorito is learning to trust and is blossoming into a gentle, playful companion. Dorito delights in using the doggy door to carry his toys outside, where he happily entertains himself by tossing them around. He enjoys being brushed, has started taking treats directly from his foster’s hand, and is slowly becoming comfortable on a leash. Inside the home, he’s calm, quiet, and appears to be house-trained. Dorito would do best in a patient, loving home—ideally with another dog to help build his confidence. If you have a kind heart and a little extra love to give, Dorito may be the perfect addition to your family.
