Hi, my name is Kelli Bear and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Kelli Bear is a gentle, sweet soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. She’s skittish and shy at first, especially with new people, but will greet you calmly with a soft, wagging tail once she warms up. Her personality is quiet, calm, and incredibly loving. Kelli enjoys relaxing and will occasionally play with her favorite bone. She’s currently learning to overcome some fears — stairs and walks can be scary — but she’s making steady progress with patience and encouragement. She would do well with like-minded, calm dogs who respect her space. Due to her shy nature, Kelli Bear would do best in a home with older children who understand gentle interactions. With time, love, and consistency, she will continue to blossom into a wonderful, loyal companion.
