Story
🚨 URGENT: DONUT NEEDS A HERO 🚨 Donut is only 1 year old, but he’s already survived more heartbreak than any dog ever should. He endured cruelty at the hands of people who failed him, yet somehow this incredible boy never lost his gentle heart. Instead of fear or anger, Donut greets the world with kindness, affection, and hope. He still believes someone out there will finally love him the way he deserves. This handsome boy is neutered, dog friendly, and incredibly sweet. He loves being around people, enjoys canine companions, and is ready to leave his painful past behind forever. The shelter shouldn’t be the final chapter for a dog who fought so hard to survive. Donut has already beaten the odds once—now he just needs someone willing to give him the happy ending he’s earned. Please don’t let his story end here. Give this sweet survivor the forever family he’s waited his whole life for. Be the reason Donut never has to wonder if he’s loved again. ❤️PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Spots and dots, and dots and spots! Give a warm welcome to Gemini, a 3-year old, 48-pound Dalmatian who sports exquisite markings, a playful personality, and a friendly demeanor. And that’s just the beginning! Gemini is fully housebroken, he’s crate-trained, he loves spending time outdoors, and he travels like a pro. This stunning fella is warm and engaging with everyone he meets, from kids, to adults, to the elderly, as well as to other dogs. He loves horsing around with his pooch pals and he never met a toy he didn’t like. Attentive and willing to learn, Gemini doesn’t seem to know commands as of yet, but he responds to his name and rarely wanders off too far. If he does, he comes back the second you call his name. Without much effort, the clever boy should be able to pick up lots of words and phrases, in no time flat. Gemini would best be described as a Velcro dog - - the type of companion who soaks up attention like a sponge and possesses a limitless supply of love. Eager to give and receive affection, Gemini is the cuddliest, snuggliest, sweetest guy imaginable, and he would make a spot-tacular addition to just about any type of home! If you would like to adopt this wonderful dog, please email rescue@pupstarzresxue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application Please note that Gemini is blind. Story
Meet Oreo – A Loving Dalmatian Looking for Her Forever Family    Name: Oreo Age: 2 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Dalmatian Weight: 19 kg (42 lbs) Height: 55 cm (22 in)   Rescue Story   Oreo was brought to a municipal shelter with numerous wounds covering her body, and sadly, part of her tail had become necrotic due to untreated injuries. Despite everything she has been through, she has never lost her love for people and continues to greet the world with an incredibly happy heart.    Personality with People   If you’re looking for a dog who absolutely adores people, Oreo is your girl.   She loves everyone—family, friends, and complete strangers alike. She happily walks up to new people, leans against them for affection, squeezes between their legs for cuddles, and often asks to be hugged even during a first meeting. She loves both men and women and is so trusting that she’ll happily roll over to show her belly to someone she’s just met.   She can easily be picked up by placing an arm under her belly and is always eager to receive love and attention.    Dog Social Skills   Oreo is extremely social with other dogs and is always excited to make new friends. She eagerly approaches unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play.   The only catch? She doesn’t always realize when another dog isn’t interested!   Smaller dogs, in particular, sometimes find her enthusiasm overwhelming, but Oreo simply keeps trying to convince them to join the fun. If another dog won’t play with her, she’ll often bark as if saying, “Come on, let’s play!”   She has no aggression toward other dogs and tends to avoid conflict even if another dog challenges her. She generally gets along best with dogs of similar size who enjoy active play, and she especially loves energetic playmates who are happy to wrestle and run around together.    Cats   When Oreo sees cats during walks, she watches them out of curiosity but follows her handler without issue when redirected.    Energy Level   Oreo has a moderate energy level, but as a Dalmatian, she’ll thrive with an active family that can provide regular exercise and mental enrichment.   She enjoys walks, running, and outdoor adventures, but once she’s had enough activity, she settles down nicely indoors and enjoys long naps.   Oreo is genetically deaf, which is not uncommon in Dalmatians. She has adapted well to her condition and lives a happy, confident life. In fact, because she can’t hear surrounding noises, she’s quite a sound sleeper!   Her future family should be willing to communicate through visual cues, hand signals, and consistent routines.    Walking   Oreo is an experienced walker who generally stays with her handler without excessive pulling. She may occasionally pull toward something that catches her interest, but she remains manageable and responsive.   She also loves to run and would enjoy an active lifestyle.    Additional Information   Very food motivated but does not guard food from people or other dogs. Vocal when she wants to play with other dogs that won’t include her. May bark to ask for attention when she wants to reach people but is blocked by a door or barrier. Rides quietly in a kennel, although she may bark if she sees people and wants to come out. Currently potty trained for outdoor elimination.   Oreo’s joyful personality is truly infectious. She has an enormous heart, loves everyone she meets, and simply wants to be included in whatever her people are doing. She would be a wonderful companion for an active family that appreciates an affectionate, playful, and incredibly loving dog.   Could Oreo be the missing spot in your family? Story
It is with a heavy heart that i have made the difficult decision to surrender Sonny. This is not a decision I have made lightly, and it is one of the hardest choices Ive ever had to face. There are two primary reasons why i believe this is the right decision for Sonny and me.1st, I am a disabled US Army Veteran. Shortly after I rescued Sonny in 2021, I was diagnosed with PTSD from my combat deployment to Iraq in 2011. Sonny is an incredible loving dog, but he is also high-energy and easily stressed. Unfortunately, managing his needs has become increasingly difficult , and the constant stress has begun to negatively effect my own mental health and recovery.2nd, my property is simply not the right environment for him. I own 2 acres, but part of it borders a 45-mph rd. Sonny has escaped several times to chase wildlife and has narrowly missed being hit by cars.Sonny deserves a home where he can truly thrive. Idealy a large rural or secure fenced in yard where he can run freely!
