Photo of Lucky

Dalmatian American Staffordshire Terrier

Male, adult
Bedminster, NJ
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Lucky hasn't been that lucky, until now. His owner struggled with drug problems and abandoned him. The neighbors have taken great care of him in his owners absence. He is a super friendly, loving and affectionate dog who loves to go for walks and rides. He even took himself on a walk one day and ended up at the bottom of an old well. Thankfully people noticed he was missing and after a few days he was rescued by a team of wonderful people. He was the neighborhood dog basically but he really wants a family of his own that will love him forever and let him snuggle on the couch with them. He is ok with other dogs but prefers if they are smaller than him so they don't intimidate him. But he would be great as the only dog too. He is best friends with Lucy (who he used to live with) and they get along great. He is about 18 months old and about 60 pounds. He will make a great addition to a fun family. If you are interested in adopting Lucky please visit where you can find the link to submit the adoption application and also read all about our TN based rescue and how the entire and adoption and transport process works. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. Female, young
Pottstown, PA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
For Adoption:Yoko was found in TN and picked up by animal control. Her owner could not be found. She is a young dog, under a year, and loves everyone. She has just been spayed and is ready to find a loving home. Dalmatians go from gallant to goofy in the blink of an eye. They love to be a part of everything their family does. That said, they have high energy levels and need plenty of exercise. If you’re looking for a jogging partner and friend who’ll love you unconditionally, this is the dog for you! Dalmatians are very  intelligent, but can be willful if they sense their owners are not in charge. They g enerally do well with firm, consistent training. You must  be comfortable being the alpha pack leader  if your aren’t this is not the breed for you. Yoko does not like other dogs so she will need to be the only dog in the home. She is very excitable so she may not do well with young children as she is a bull in a china shop and will plow through or knock the children over. Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption please submit an application to adopt. APPLICATION TO ADOPT:   If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email or call 610-970-7500.September 20, 2023, 4:46 pm

Pointer Australian Cattle Dog

Male, young
Doylestown, PA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Do you have Aussie experience?  Do you want an extremely loyal, Velcro, friend?   My name is SHANE.  Give me time, attention, and oh yea, treats and I will be your loyal friend to the end.  My foster family has taken the time to get to know ME and understand ME and know that Aussie – Pitties need time to learn to trust, love and respect.  I do like certain dogs, and I am willing to try to get to know them and be friends, my play style is “you are the cattle and I am the cattle dog”.  Quite frankly I would be fine being your one and only,  I crave all the attention.   I would really like a forever home that has room for me to run, exercise and stimulate my mind. SHANE is neutered and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. His adoption fee is $425. Please note that training is strongly recommended for all dogs.  As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing.  Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG for an overview of the Lulu's Rescue adoption process.  Thank you for adopting and saving a life -- you are SHANE hero!September 21, 2023, 12:07 pm
