Story
Luna came into our lives unexpectedly and instantly became family. She came from a surprise litter: a rescued pit bull and a beloved Dalmatian. One of six little lives. We brought her home in 2022, and from that moment on, she was ours. Now 3 years old, Luna is the kind of dog who follows you from room to room, just happy to be near you. She plays gently with children, melts into your side for naps, and brings her goofy joy to the everyday. She’s smart, soulful, and full of heart! Our life has drastically changed: two new babies, a six-year-old, chronic health issues, work travel, and financial strain have made it impossible to keep up with Luna’s care. We’ve looked into walkers, daycare, and help from family, but none of it is doable- and it’s not fair to her. She’d do best in a home with time for daily walks, play, and space to move- whether that’s a fenced yard or nearby parks. Letting her go is heartbreaking, but keeping her would be unfair. She deserves more than we can give.

Story
Meet Samantha. She is 30 pounds of a beautiful mix of Catahoula and husky--check out her blue eyes and curled tail. She loves her walks and enjoys meeting other people and dogs. She also enjoys gathering pine cones on these neighborhood adventures. Samantha gets along famously with her foster family's resident dogs. Outside, she romps and plays with them in the fenced-in yard. Inside, she is a Velcro dog and follows her family everywhere, including snuggle time on sofas. She loves to pick favorites out of the basket of dog toys in the hallway. Samantha is a little over three years old, is spayed and micro-chipped, is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and is housebroken. She has a very adaptable personality and would fit in anywhere--from an active family with other dogs to a quieter family as a solo dog and any combination in between. She is ready to watch Phillies baseball (spring training and beyond) with a wonderful forever family to love--that could be you.   Please email us at  AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com  for an application or more information.     (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.)
