SAMMIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED! Sammie is a 1 year, 9 month old, 29 pound mixed breed pup.  She is house trained, crate and leash trained.  Sammie needs her size and larger dogs in the home as she is food aggressive with smaller dogs. Sammie is sweet and playful!  She plays well with other dogs and is great with children, although older children in the home please, as she likes to jump and play and could knock down a little one. She is a great size for any home! This cutie was part of an "oops" litter in Puerto Rico.. unfortunate situation adding more homeless pets to the population but we are making sure the mom gets spayed ASAP. Their mom was 45 lbs and the dad was 43 lbs so they shouldn't be bigger than 50 lbs when full grown. They were born 9-4-23. There were 10 in the litter! Apply via www.nyshar.org/applications
