CASPER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Hi, my name is Casper, and I am a very sweet, playful, energetic neutered boy.  I am a dalmation/pit mix, with one blue eye and one brown eye. I am about 2 years old. I am crate trained and have had no accidents in the house. I am strong, but my foster dad has taught me to walk on a leash. I really enjoy this exercise and time of bonding. I am a medium sized dog at a little less than 50 pounds. I enjoy the outdoors in a safe, fenced yard, but I am mainly an indoor dog. Won't you please consider adding me to your family? He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Casper up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Casper here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 21, 2026, 6:02 am

This pretty girl is Sushi. She is 9-months-old and weighs 43 lb. We don't know her full breed mix but we think she has some dalmatian in her. Sushi is super sweet, a perfect mix of attentive and can do her own thing. In an adorable way, she brings the party, but not the chaos of it...she brings the best parts. Sushi is social, confident, Independent, silly and engaging. She is great with other dogs and should be fine with children of all ages. We don't know what Sushi thinks of cats, but can cat-test her if needed. Sushi is going to make an awesome pet! She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $440. If you would like to meet/adopt Sushi, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-online-adoption-application/ or stop by our shelter. We are open 10 AM to 4 PM seven days a week. The DAWS shelter address is 147 Grassy Plain St. Bethel. Email daws@daws.org with questions or if you wish to schedule an after-hours appointment. She barks when the others start barking, but is normally quiet. She is an aggressive chewer. She is used to eating from her own bowl, which can be grabbed to be moved without her biting. Story
Dove is one of the sweetest souls you will ever have the pleasure of loving. This beauty is 2-3 years old. She is a pointer lab  dalmation mix and weighs 56 lbs.  A true bringer of Peace and Harmony – Dove is a people lover with a calm energy and the sweetest face you can imagine. Her eyes are those of an old soul and with one look she will melt your heart. For a girl with only 3 legs, she can move with the best of them, but she’s just as happy to be curled up on the porch or lying out in the sunshine. Dove LOVES people, is great with kids and loves getting all the pats and attention. Her tail will immediately let you know how happy she is to see you when walk into a room with her.  Dove is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing. The adoption fee is $500, which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption and age appropriate spay/neuter.

Sheeba & Annubus (Bonded Pair)'s Story Meet Annubus and Sheeba! A bonded pair of stunning Cane Corsos looking for a forever home together! Annubus and Sheeba are a pair of 2 year old Cane Corsos who came to us after a change in their family’s living situation. These two were very well cared for and it shows. Not just in their beautiful appearance, but in their gentle and loving personalities. Annibus, a neutered male, is respectful and calm. Despite his impressive size, he’s a gentle soul who loves being close to his people. Sheeba, a spayed female, is sweet, loyal, and did wonderfully living with young children in her previous home. She’s dog selective but absolutely adores her brother, and the two share a strong, inseparable bond. Because of how close they are, we’re looking for a home where Annibus and Sheeba can stay together. They balance each other perfectly and will make a loyal, loving addition to an experienced Cane Corso home. Breed experience and a meet and greet with any resident dogs are required to ensure the best match. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this amazing duo, apply today at almosthomeli.org.
