Story
Midnight was adopted as a puppy. I fell in love with him and his white socks and black polka dots. He also has a white spot on his chest. Midnight is friendly and has lived with a cat and dog. I was never planning to give him up, but I have moved to a retirement community, and he is over the weight limit. He just turned 8 in October. Even though he is 8, he is very strong and playful. Midnight is friendly and loveable.

Story
I adopted Midnight when he was just a puppy. I fell in love with his white paws with black polka dots. He is gentle and needs loving. Midnight is a protector and doesn't like people walking on the sidewalk. He watches out for people walking by and barks at them. But, if someone comes to the door, he is gentle and thinks they came to see them. Midnight is crate trained. Because of anxiety, we put him in the crate when we leave home. And, at times, he goes in himself and lies down. We had a cat and they got along well. Sometimes the cat would come around Midnight and tease him to chase her. They played this way. Then, when we got another dog, black mouth cur, they got along well never growling even if they were eating out of the same bowl. When the other dog came into our home, we didn't have to put him in his crate because the other dog was his company.

Story
We adopted Pogo from MCARC in August because we were looking for a calm, family dog. He is a great dog but he is not getting on with our cats and vice versa. He gets very excited by them, and they get very stressed. In a month and a half, the interactions haven't improved. He is med-high energy, loves people and gets on with other dogs- he loves to run in the large dog area at the dog park. His favorite toys are things he can chew on- he is a very strong chewer! He does well in a crate and has not had any accidents that weren't our fault (only two). Our youngest is probably his favorite person but he has been great with both the kids. We want him to have a home where he can be with a family with no cats who can handle a dog that is energetic and athletic despite his age (7 years), where he can run around and live a life that is much better than what he has here being cooped up or leashed. He will come with all of his toys, accessories, medicine and food except the crate.

Story
We have been fostering Hank on behalf of my sister-in-law for 2 years now. He bit the baby, which is why they no longer felt safe with him in the house; fortunately, the injury was minimal. He is territorially aggressive with our dogs and will get into fights or scuffles. We believe this is selective aggression rather than aggression towards all animals, but we cannot predict when he may decide another animal is no longer his friend. That said, he is a sweet boy 95% of the time. Hank would do best in a home with no other animals and only teens or adults. Because of his history, he will likely need an experienced owner who can help prevent future incidents and manage his environment safely. On the positive side, Hank is very playful, very snuggly, and always cold. We often put him in a sweater or let him sunbathe on the deck out back. He is a wonderful dog, but with my own dog taking ill, he can no longer stay in the home. We are trying to prevent euthanasia. PLEASE HELP!
