Bayou is a handsome young Catahoula Leopard Dog with a loving heart and so much potential. He has been thriving in a foster home where he's gained confidence, settled into a routine, and shown everyone what a wonderful companion he can be.
Living with another dog has helped Bayou truly come out of his shell. He's sweet, playful, affectionate, and loves being part of the family. Whether he's playing with his canine friend, exploring the yard, or relaxing with his people, Bayou is happiest when he's surrounded by those he loves.
Personality:
Bayou is an intelligent, affectionate dog who thrives on routine and companionship. He especially enjoys having another friendly dog around and gains confidence from a canine companion. He's eager to please, enjoys playtime, and forms strong bonds with his people.
Bayou does experience separation anxiety, but he has been making wonderful progress with medication, consistency, a predictable routine, and 2 doggy foster siblings. His future family should be committed to helping him gain confidence and it may be a plus if you’re experienced with mild separation anxiety.
