The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies and other core vaccinations. Please complete an adoption application at https://www.asvtexas.org/adoption-application.html. Sophia is Your New Best FriendHi, my name is Sophia. I think I'm a Dalmatian/Border Collie mix, about 3 months old. My Foster Mom thinks I am just about the best puppy ever. She calls me a "Velcro" puppy, just because I want to be with her. I love to run (actually it's more like bounce!) around the yard with my dog brothers and play with toys when we're inside. I'm working on my potty and leash training and have mastered sleeping in a crate quietly all night. I like to meet new people; I roll on my back so you can rub my tummy. I'd love to meet you and we can fall in love. Go to www.ASVTexas.org > Adoption to complete an adoption application so we can meet.ASVT does not have a facility; all of our adoptable pets live in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. No one takes a salary so all donations and grants are used for the rescue animals. May 31, 2025, 12:22 pm

Layla is a big, happy girl bursting with playful energy and love. In her previous home, she loved lounging on the bed, soaking up attention, and staying active with plenty of exercise. At the shelter, she’s been waiting for months and is craving the comfort and connection of a loving home. Layla can be a bit selective with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet with any potential dog siblings is a must. She’s looking for an active family who can match her zest for life and provide her with the love, structure, and adventures she thrives on.If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart and even bigger personality, Layla is eager to meet you!Est. Story
Astro is a goofy, energetic, and loyal Dalmatian mix with a whole lot of personality. He’s passionate about fetch (seriously—he won’t stop bringing the ball!), and he’s happiest when he’s playing outside, being by your side, or sneaking into bed for cuddles. Astro is a special dog who thrives in a stable, structured home with someone who understands strong-willed, working breeds. He’s not super cuddly in the traditional sense, but he’s always around, always watching, and always ready for play. If you’re an experienced dog owner with a calm home and lots of love (and balls!), Astro just might be your perfect match.
