Story
We call her Ewe-nice because she is much like a black lamb! She is bashful at first- and almost army crawls on her way to snuggle next to you :). If you want a dark shadow to follow you in the nicest way- Ewenice is your girl! She has the deepest most soulful chocolate brown eyes- and stares at you sweetly until you give her attention. Ewenice actually presses herself into her kennel gate to get close to strangers- and is always- and we mean always- swinging her tail back and forth. If you want a gentle dog that will love you more than you love her- please come by and take a look at this black lamb. :) Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!

Story
This is Pepper - she is joyful- and the most lovable and being all these things- no one has come looking for her. Despite being in an unfamiliar place -she is so eager to meet strangers and give kisses. Her biggest joy in life is giving hugs- laying in the grass - and of course - chomping on treats. We are not certain of her previous living situation as she came in as a stray- but she is so content with a warm blanket and doing her business at the back of her kennel. We do think miss Pepper is still indeed young- and therefore has the heart of a puppy. When she gets excited she may wee upon being so happy to see you. Peppered is ultimately the sweetest - she has peppered licorice on her white paws! Story
Name: Moose Age: 6 years old DOB: March 26, 2020 We recently moved into a smaller home with a tiny yard. We are unable to give him the full attention he deserves due to packed work schedules. We’ve had him since he was old enough to leave his mom and ever since some of the family members have been dealing with bad allergies from him. He’s scared of thunder and fireworks. He likes to hold onto your arm for hugs when you pet him. He’s a really good dog! Unfortunately he has gotten loose from our house and was picked up by the pound. We searched for him for hours and was unable to find him. The pound found him the next morning and I know he was scared. He gave a little nip. I have to disclose this. I know he was scared. Never in the 6 years we’ve had him has he ever done anything like this to any of us. Please do not let this push you away from considering taking him in. He’s very sweet and loving!
