Story
Slate is a German Shepherd Doberman mix. He is playful and energetic! He plays tug of war, but will not fetch. He does have social anxiety and struggles when yelled at or left alone. Slate does play well with other dogs, but has only barked at cats. He is kennel trained and can sit and wait. He has been with our other dog, since they were both about 4 months, so we would love if they could stay together. But if not, he does need someone home or another dog to play with during the day!

Here is Max! His owner passed away and was left abandoned at his boarding facility. He's a 12 year old Doberman mix, male, neutered, fresh vaccinations, lived with cats and dogs both before I had him, kennel trained, no potty issues, friendly to people, loves to play. I have his most current vaccinations but no prior history at all.  Contact - Jeremy@kelleyk9training.com

Story
🐾🤎 Foster or Adopt Benji 🤎🐾 Benji (formerly Gunner) was adopted from LCDR in 2021, and through no fault of his own, he is now looking for a new place to call home. 💔 We’re committed to our dogs for life, and now it’s our turn to help Benji find his next chapter. 🏡 Why Benji needs a new home: His family recently moved into a townhome, making daily life much more challenging. Benji is leash reactive, so navigating shared spaces for potty breaks has become difficult—especially while caring for a new baby. 🐶 About Benji: 🤎 Great with small and large dogs with proper introductions 👧 Best with children 10 years and older 👨 May be cautious around some men at first but warms up into a loving, affectionate companion 🐾 Displays classic herding/heeler behaviors and may try to herd or gently nip when excited 🩺 Medical: 🌼 Seasonal allergies currently managed successfully with Benadryl 💪 Otherwise healthy and ready for his next adventure! 🏡 Ideal Home: ✔️ Experienced dog owner ✔️ Familiar with herding breeds (or willing to learn!) ✔️ Able to work with or manage leash reactivity ✔️ Home with older kids or adults ✔️ Doesn’t need a crate—he does well when left out and isn’t destructive 🚗 Transportation: Benji is currently in Illinois, and transportation back to Arizona has already been arranged if needed. His adopter is willing to drive him to meet transport, making placement possible for an Arizona foster or adopter! 💛 Benji has already known the love of a family once. Let’s make sure he doesn’t have to wait long to find it again. 👉 Apply to foster or adopt Benji here: https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code

Story
*Update* Iceberg has lost +30 lbs now! Iceberg is a seven-year-old Doberman mix with a heart as big as her personality. This sweet girl recently came into the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, and while she has some significant health and weight challenges ahead of her, she’s already proving to be an incredibly loving and easygoing companion. At approximately 145 pounds, Iceberg is currently extremely obese and likely needs to be closer to 60 pounds for a healthier, more comfortable life. The Big Hearts for Big Breeds team is working closely with veterinary partners to ensure all of her medical needs are addressed and to rule out any underlying conditions contributing to her weight gain. Despite everything, Iceberg remains wonderfully friendly and full of joy. She appears to be kennel trained, potty trained, and does well with just about everyone — kids, dogs, cats, and especially food. She’s currently settling into foster care where she’s beginning a healthier routine filled with steady nutrition, regular walks, swimming, and lots of encouragement (and playtime!) from her foster friends. Iceberg’s journey won’t happen overnight, but she finally has the support she needs to feel better and enjoy life the way every dog deserves. With patience, medical care, and continued love, we’re excited to watch this special girl transform and thrive.

Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!
