Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
Rafiki is a special almost 3 year old Doberman. She has Megaesophagus, which means food has difficulty getting from her mouth to her stomach. Rafi will need to eat and drink upright for the rest of her life, ideally in a Bailey chair. She will require equally as special parents, dedicated to her feeding needs. This sweetheart has a ton of puppy energy, and plays just like a normal Doberman. She will need activity and structure like any puppy. Gentle and great at picking up on cues, Rafiki does well with other dogs and cats. She also loves youngsters and is eligible for adoption to families with children. Rafiki loves to camp, hike, and adventure with her foster family. She attends local vet schools to teach them about her special needs, and is a local celebrity. Rafiki has even attended a camp for special needs children. She would make a great therapy dog! You can learn more about  Megaesophagus (sometimes called Mega-e or ME) here: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/megaesophagus DHDR will be providing a custom Bailey chair to Rafiki's adopter. If you are just the right fit for Rafi or want to talk about her further, email Contact@azdoberescue.org.

MacIntosh is a 1 year old all-natural blue Doberman. This incredibly sweet boy is loving, well-mannered, and SO cute. Mac is dog-social, and we believe he does well with cats. He is crate trained, and loves to have his soft ears rubbed while he gives the Dober-lean. Mac is going to be such a fun addition to someone's home.

Story
Snow is a 1.5 year old female Albino Doberman. This stunning girl gets attention anywhere she goes. Snow does great in her crate, is obedience trained, and is SO silly. At home, you will find her snuggling her nose into you, slipping and sliding around the floor as she plays, and bouncing around giving play bows. Snow is very energetic, so she does well with dogs that are playful and understanding of her forward nature. Snow prefers a home with no cats. Due to her poor vision in the sunlight as an Albino, Snow has reactivity when she sees other dogs out on a walk. She is looking for an adopter who is up for positive training with her to continue work on this issue. Snow is so lucky to be in foster at the home of a professional positive trainer, so she will come with extensive training and support. Snow's foster says "she's an incredible girl, and she makes us smile every day."

Story
Beauty, sweetness, and smarts, Abby is a perfect package. She's just a gorgeous, wonderful girl. She's so well adjusted and loving. House trained, doesn't chew, fine when left by herself, she doesn't even bark! We're guessing her age at 1-1/2, maybe 2. Breed again we're guessing as Dobie mix. She hasn't been around dogs, but has no reaction when she sees them. I think she'd be fine, but a slow introduction is always needed. I have no clue about cats or small kids, but as perfect as she is she'd probably be ok. She'll go to her new home spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Available for adoption through Kim's Kritters.

We’ve had Hannah for a little over a year. She loves to be pet and she loves positive attention and reinforcement. Unfortunately, she has gotten aggressive towards one of our cats and our other dog. We think she would thrive as a single dog to a wonderful family.

Story
Hello there! My name is Thunder, and have I got a special story to share with you. I came to Forever Loved along with my two furry roommates after our owner passed away. Although it was very sad to lose my owner, it turns out there is a silver lining to my story because I have received nothing but the best veterinary care, and have been so blessed to be in a loving foster home. Matter of fact, my furry foster brother has taken me under his wing and both foster and foster brother have shown me nothing but love and great care. By the way, I am a 12 year old 8lb Miniature Pinscher. Turns out, I have Valley Fever, and the vet discovered torn ACLs, luxating patellas, and a curvature in my spine. So with my orthopedic challenges, I can walk, but I prefer to just hang out with you or find a comfy bed to snuggle in to. Here’s the great news - I am so reliably house trained, I will hold it until I am outside, and all I need from you is for you to carry me out several times a day, and easy-peasy, I do my business and back in we go! I am very gentle and quiet, and when you come home after an absence, I will do a squeaky noise to show you how happy I am. I’d be great for an apartment or condo. Going on walks is not really a good thing for me but I will tell you, I love to be carried in a sling or even go out in a stroller. I am such a friendly and well-behaved guy! I love other dogs, all kinds of people, and you can even say I am sweetness personified. I will need the anti fungal med for a few more months, and a recheck of my blood to show that the Valley Fever is gone, but will need a pain medication for the ortho issues for the rest of my life. I feel so much better now that sometimes I even do “mini zoomies!” I just know you can see what a treasure I am from my photos, and I’m hoping you have a spot in your heart for a very special dog…

Story
Thor was originally saved from the shelter euthanasia list back in 2021, by another rescue that has since dissolved. He sat for almost two years at the rescue, and his general health and well-being declined. With the closing of the rescue, we stepped in to help and get Thor the proper medical care he so desperately needed. After months of recovery and healing from the inside-out, we have been blessed to watch Thor's personality blossom and his award-winning smile shine! He has a playful spirit, regal look and the most incredibly soulful eyes. He’s a simple man, wanting to live a simple life -- all he needs is a soft bed and his favorite toys. He's far from "needy" as he prefers to spend time relaxing or entertaining himself, tossing his toys around for fun, occasionally bringing them to you for just a few minutes of "tug". Our handsome boy would make a wonderful companion! The perfect home for Thor would have a yard to run and play in and/or someone who will take him on daily walks, outings and adventures. And while he is not reactive to other dogs in passing, he would prefer to be your only "king of the house" so he can go about his day as he pleases. Thor is fully obedience trained and knows all the basic commands, including how to walk without pulling on a leash and how to sit, waiting without rushing through any door. He is also crate trained, potty trained and is a perfect gentleman who keeps his room clean! Thor's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, neuter, microchip and an in-home session with our trainer so you can learn the training tools and methods of communication he already knows. He will melt your heart in no time! To meet this sweet boy, apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/thor-1
