Story
Delta’s story began in a neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, where the stray dog population was overwhelming, and sadly, some people were intentionally harming these vulnerable animals. When we heard about the heartbreaking loss of numerous dogs in the area, we knew we had to act. We hit the road to meet Delta and bring her to safety, and when we finally laid eyes on her, we couldn’t have been happier—or more relieved. Despite everything she’d endured, Delta greeted us with a wagging tail, a hint of playfulness, and a heart full of sweetness. Since arriving in Arizona, Delta has continued to amaze us with her gentle resilience and bright spirit. This 1 year old Doberman mix completed a 5-week professional Board + Train program, and she’s blossomed into a more confident, well-mannered young pup. She’s smart, curious, and full of potential—always eager to connect and slowly learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Delta is especially bonded to her companion Dawn, who came from the same situation and has been by her side throughout their journey to healing. Our hope is to find them a home together, where they can continue to grow and thrive side by side. However, we’re open to adopting them out separately if the perfect family comes along for each of them. If you’re looking to open your heart to a sweet, soulful pup with a story of survival and strength, Delta might just be your girl. Please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once received, we’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet to introduce you to this special dog (and maybe her best friend Dawn, too).

Story
Hi! My name is Ruger, and I am a spunky, handsome, 4 year old, good doberboy looking for my furever family. I enjoy long walks on the beach, quiet nights at home with my family, a good meal, a warm bed and all the love I can get! If you are looking for a velcro Doberman, then look no further because this hunk of love likes to be right by your side. I am learning all about what it’s like to live in a nice warm (or cool in AZ) house. I enjoy the occasional bark at noises in the yard or things in the street, but it’s not excessive. I love to run in the yard and play with all of my toys. I especially love soccer balls! I am learning to be a good boy on a leash and love my weekly, medicated bath. I even jump in the bath tub all by myself. I will need someone who will be willing to continue my treatment for valley fever and give me a weekly bath (my fur was all gone but is slowly growing in). I like cats a little too much so I need to be in a cat free home. I need people who respect my space and I'm not sure I'd like tiny humans too much. I love my 12 year old human brother because he knows how to love me just the way I like it. I kind of like to be the boss of the other dogs so a slow intro is a must if I'm going to be around other dogs. I do get along well with my current doberbrother most of the time. I have been fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. I know the perfect family is out there for me and I will patiently wait for you to find me. If you think I'm the one for you, please go to lovethemALLrescue.org/ruger to learn more and apply to adopt. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
Dawn’s story began in a neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, where the stray dog population was overwhelming, and sadly, some people were intentionally harming these vulnerable animals. When we heard about the heartbreaking loss of numerous dogs in the area, we knew we had to act. We hit the road to meet Dawn and bring her to safety. When we finally met Dawn, her timid eyes and cautious demeanor spoke volumes about the hardships she had faced. We gently loaded her and a few of her companions into the car and set off on the long road back to Arizona, knowing we were giving her a second chance at life. This one year old Doberman mix is shy and reserved, but beneath her hesitation is a heart full of hope. Since arriving, Dawn has had professional training, completing a 5-week Board + Train to help her build confidence and trust. She has made amazing progress and continues to impress us with how much she has learned. While she takes things slowly, each moment of progress reveals more of her gentle spirit and quiet resilience. Dawn is now ready to find a loving, patient home where she can feel safe and grow at her own pace. She is especially bonded to one of the dogs she came in with, Delta, and our hope is to find them a home together. However, we are open to placing them separately if the perfect family comes along for each of them. If you have a soft spot for gentle souls and want to see Dawn blossom in a home full of love, please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. We’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet and help Dawn (and maybe Delta!) find the forever family they truly deserve.

Story
I am looking for a good loving home for my boy. I love him dearly but I have had to relocate from a house to a condo with no yard. He needs a yard with room and a person who knows how to handle a large breed, high energy pup. He does not care for other dogs and occasionally barks and lunges at them. But he has been professionally trained 3/2025 overnight two weeks with trainer and he has learned commands very well. His reactive behavior is much better but an experienced owner is needed to continue his training. Walker is a sweet, loving 1 1 1/2 year old AKC Doberman (dad) and German Shepherd (mom). He was purchased from a local breeder. He loves his solid toys and will play with them with or without a person throwing them. He actually throws his own toys and fetches them! He’s a great family dog and has had constant interaction with kids from 7 years & up Walker is crate trained Crate/cover, all his quality solid toys & a couple bags of his dog food included

Story
Hi there! My name is Willow and I`m the bigger of the sisters. You can also tell me apart because I have a funny looking front leg, it doesn`t bother me and we still love to tussle together in the grass. Everyone needs a best friend forever and I picked my sister Scout. Us large ladies will need a home that has a yard in it so we can frolic freely. We wouldn`t do well with cats or smaller animals, but if you have a dog around our size we would love to meet them. Excited to share your life with two gorgeous Dobermans? Come visit us as HALO today!*I am bonded to my sister Scout and we must go home together.*

Story
Daisee is a 3 year old all-natural female Doberman. A true velcro Doberman, Daisy loves to be near people, other dogs, and cats. This sweet girl needs a bit of extra time to decompress and get comfortable in new environments. Daisee is a great housemate, rides well in the car, and loves to play with toys. Daisee will be a wonderful fit in a home that wants a velcro girl and is open to taking new experiences slow. Other pets in the home is a major bonus!
