Story
Hello, My name is Lolly and I'm looking for my new forever home (without other dogs please). I'm an old lady (15 years young) but super sweet and low maintenance. My human passed away recently and her wish was for me to go to a loving family the rest of my days. I enjoy long walks and playing with toys. Please let us know if you can help.

Story
#A5601216 Kirby is an easy to handle young puppy who was surrendered on December 30 with his brother #A5601214 Brooklyn, then adopted and both were returned about one month later. He’s only 4 months old and has spent too much of his young life in the shelter system. Kirby looks to Brooklyn for guidance but we think he will do just fine adopted on his own. He might like to be a little brother to an adult dog in the home too.  -lap dog enjoys cuddles -cutest eyebrows! -about 16 pounds and growing -needs all the basic puppy training -he’s a follower not a leader -neutered and ready to go home! -Doberman Pinscher mix, maybe with Shepherd -mostly black with tan and a bit of white -returned to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 31 KIRBY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/Ap7bwJJ28oE For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
#A5601212 Kary is a tender, sweet soul. She’s a Doberman pinscher mix and just stunning! 3-year-old, spayed female Black and brown Came to the Baldwin Park Shelter on 12/30/23 as an owner surrender 44 lbs Kary is a gentle and dainty girl. She came in lactating, so we know she had a litter. She’s confused and does not know where her puppies went! It’s heartbreaking because she’s such a mama bear. At first, she was a little shy, with her tail tucked in, but once she got to know our team, she just opened up with so much love. Wonderful on a leash! Knows basic commands like “sit.” Has a calm demeanor around other dogs   Kary has a very respectful attitude but is a little melancholy here in the shelter. Let’s get her out and into a new home filled with the love she deserves! Story
#A5464334 Bonita Just 2 years and thin at 60 lbs, it looks like she was adopted from the County system in 2022 as a young puppy. Sweet girl doesn’t know how she ended up here, and her intake notes say she had been clipped by a car. Luckily she wasn’t hurt too badly though she’s sad at the shelter. -Doberman Pinscher, black and tan with natural ears and tail -Stranger danger = cautious with new people and doesn’t show well in her kennel but likely to feel safe and relax once she is in a home and can decompress -Ok on leash, takes treats gently -Active mind, smart girl needs a job or some training to help her understand what’s expected of her -Likely to enjoy games and playtime when she’s settled in -Came to the Baldwin Park shelter on January 2 listed as “Abandoned” -Thin at 60 lbs -On medication for what looks to be a mild infection, health waiver may be required and outside vet can confirm -Spayed and ready to go home!   BONITA’S VIDEO  https://youtu.be/YsZVuYDjHMA   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Pet Information #A5578879 Doby is a dignified 7 year old black and tan spayed female Doberman Pinscher who came as an owner surrender to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on September 5. Weighing 82 lbs Doby is a very good girl who looks like a purebred, with a natural tail and ears. Sweet Doby has no idea how she ended up in the shelter and she is cautious at first with new people. She’s curious and ok for homes with other large dogs and recommended for the Gentle/Dainty group. We don’t recommend homes with cats since she showed a very strong prey drive. Doby was happy to get out of her kennel and into the yard for some playtime where she chased the ball and stretched her legs. The change of scenery from the noisy kennel environment seemed to help her relax quite a bit. With a loving person to let her settle in and feel comfortable, we are confident that Doby will show her true heart and be a devoted companion.
