Story
Meet Sadie – A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold Sadie’s journey has been anything but ordinary. She was adopted from us as a puppy by a veteran living with PTSD and began training to become a service dog. Unfortunately, the training didn’t continue, and life took some difficult turns. Recently, we received a call from a local shelter—thanks to our microchipping policy, they knew to contact us. We learned that Sadie’s owner had fallen on hard times and was living in his car in Colorado. Though he deeply loved Sadie, he knew that life on the road was no place for her. He tried to do the right thing by leaving her with his sister, but she was later surrendered to a shelter. Her original owner has since reached out to Veterans Affairs in Colorado for help, and while it's heartbreaking, he trusts us to find Sadie the loving forever home she deserves. Sadie is truly a sweetheart. She’s got that adorable hound dog bark and a big personality—she definitely knows what she wants and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s time for water or a potty break! She gets along well with most dogs, but like any good boss lady, she prefers not to share the throne with other strong-willed females. As they say, too many chiefs in the kitchen! She adores hugs and will gladly soak up all the affection you can offer. Sadie is looking for a calm, stable home where she can feel safe, secure, and cherished. Could you be the one to give her the second chance she so deserves?

Story
initially, my son adopted Lacy from a shelter as a 2 or 3 month old puppy. Unfortunately, he lived in an upstairs apartment and was unable to spend much time with her. She spent most of her time in a crate. When she was about 6 months old, he needed to rehome her due to neighbor complaints but the shelter refused to take an owner surrender back due to over crowding so he asked me to foster her. We have been unable to find a suitable home for her and I cannot keep her indefinitely. My husband and I like to travel, which means we are frequently placing her in a boarding facility and it is proving to be quite expensive. Additionally, Lacy is very active and playful but has separation anxiety. I am 66 years old with osteoporosis and I am afraid she will cause me to trip and fall. She is extremely friendly with people, especially kids, but she is timid around other, larger dogs. She has some separation anxiety. She needs to live indoors in a loving home.

Story
Hi! My name is Cersei and I am 7 years old, but don't let my age fool you! I am as energetic as a new puppy that just learned to run! I love being outside and being able to run as fast as I can, so I hope you can keep up! My favorite thing to do is play and give you lots of love and I love getting hugs and kisses from everyone around me! My mommy says I'm really good with my hooman brothers & baby sister so that makes me really happy! I love to play with other dogs big and small, so if you have other dogs, that would be awesome! My mommy is very sad because she says I deserve more than she can give me. She works a lot to provide for our family and thinks that I need to be with a family who has more time and especially space. It is getting a little cramped in this little apartment, even though I think I'm doing ok, I know my mommy knows best and I trust her. My mommy says If you have a home with a yard or kids or even just time to go to the park or run, you'd be perfect for me!
