While he can be a bit bashful when meeting someone new, his sweet nature shines through in his soft greetings and his desire to stay close to the action. He is a thoughtful dog who appreciates a patient approach and finds great joy in simple moments of connection. Back rubs and ear scratches are her favorite. Sadly, Lily’s loving owner recently passed away, and now she’s hoping to find a new family to give her the love she’s so eager to share. Story
We are currently doing courtesy posts because we don't have space in our rescue to bring dogs in. Diesel (under 2yrs male) is desperately needing of a new loving home. The owner gave him to the neighbor after the neighbor pleaded with them to let her take him because he was housed outside all day everyday since he's a puppy on a tiny cement patio with no sunlight and hardly any walks or interaction. Diesel is a sweet shy boy who has been horribly neglected all his life but is so eager to love people. Due to his neglect because he hasn't been around children or other animals we believe it's best to be the only dog in home. It is very possible for him to be around other animals and kids with proper training in the future. Meet Jazz, a sweet and gentle boy with an innocent soul and an endearing personality. Jazz is shy at first, but this timid nature gives way to something truly beautiful once he warms up. He has the most adorable quirk—he jumps straight up like a kangaroo, bouncing high in the same spot as if he has little springs in his paws, up and down repeatedly. Jazz is crate trained and loves one-on-one time with his people, giving kisses and hugs freely. When he's with his pack, he transforms into a playful companion who gets fully absorbed in fun with his dog friends. He loves food and is wonderfully playful with other dogs. Jazz is amazing with kids and is 100% adventurous despite having limited experience with the outside world. His adopters will get to be his "firsts" for everything—the beach, hiking, car rides, and countless other adventures. Jazz is an incredibly innocent, gentle boy with a truly good soul and zero aggression. He's friendly with everyone he meets. While timid initially, once he warms up, you'll witness something beautiful as he blooms into the most confident, happy companion with his forever family.
