Armstrong is a 9 month old male Doberman mix. He seems like he will be smaller than a purebred Doberman. He is dog and people friendly. He also does well around his foster mom’s horses. He likes to chase small animals. Armstrong is so smart and sweet. He loves to run and play. He knows some commands including sit. He loves treats and attention. Armstrong was dumped with his four other siblings on a property in Modesto. They were taken to a high kill shelter where all were adopted but Armstrong. He was set to be euthanized due to overpopulation, so we pulled him. At the shelter, he was sweet but shy. In foster, he is very energetic, confident, playful and affectionate.

It takes a second for her to get used to new people but the way to her heart is treats!I lived with dogs in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction. I don’t have a history with cats. I may do well with them with a slow introduction.I lived with children in my previous home and may do well with your children.If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.
