She is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who truly wants to be a good dog. She’s wonderful with other dogs and walks beautifully on leash without pulling - great at recall too! She doesn’t chase cats, listens well, can be redirected easily, and already responds to her name. She’s almost fully house-trained and already cries at the door when she needs to go out. At night, she sleeps in her crate and settles in with no fuss. She loves to play fetch and run around, but she’s not mouthy at all—just happy and joyful energy. Maya is an amazing girl but will need a family that will keep her active. She loves going for hikes! Maya has a lot of potential but is still a puppy so will need a family that is active, and will continue to work on training with her. Armstrong is a 9 month old male Doberman mix. He seems like he will be smaller than a purebred Doberman. He is dog and people friendly. He also does well around his foster mom’s horses. He likes to chase small animals. Armstrong is so smart and sweet. He loves to run and play. He knows some commands including sit. He loves treats and attention. Armstrong was dumped with his four other siblings on a property in Modesto. They were taken to a high kill shelter where all were adopted but Armstrong. He was set to be euthanized due to overpopulation, so we pulled him. At the shelter, he was sweet but shy. In foster, he is very energetic, confident, playful and affectionate.
