She’s in a foster home with children, 2 dogs, a rabbit and has also been tested with cats. She’s very gentle with children, and loves to snuggle up and have pets but would do best in a home with respectful children 10 years or older because of her larger breed size and gentle demeanor. Florence is still a pup and would do best in a home with a confident, friendly dog who would like a playful companion. Tug of war is her favorite, as well as playing with squeaker toys and sticks. She’s crate trained and will go in her crate when she’s tired, or feeling nervous. She also uses a bell when she wants to go outside. Florence would thrive in a home that has a flexible work schedule and time to continue her training. She’s treat motivated, leashed trained and learning all about new objects, sounds and smells. She loves to explore her surroundings and is curious and alert when outside. Her foster mom is running with her and she will probably be a very good hiking companion when she gets older. Florence is looking for a wonderful owner who will continue to help build her confidence! Florence is currently being fostered in Sacramento, CA Estimated DOB: 10/22/2023 $375 adoption donation - vetted, up to date on age appropriate shots, dewormed, fecal tested/treated, flea tick treated & available w spay agreement addendum by/before 6 months. They are all microchipped with lifetime registry. Ideal home will: Have the time to commit to all things puppy! Please note puppies do not do well left alone long hours and need to be let out every 2-3 hours for potty. Long work schedule where the puppy would be left alone for 7+ hours can be difficult on most puppies and young dogs. Solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure and continued training + relationship building -- commitment not just to puppyhood but to a lifetime of love, care, companionship and vetting. HFP advocates for Positive Reinforcement only for young puppies and training that focuses less on "obedience" and more on confidence building, relationship building and consent training. Story

Aurora was on 8/25/2021 and she is half doberman/husky. She loves to run, go for walks, and look for lizards hiding in the grass (lol). She knows commands like: sit, down, up, off, paw, reach, touch, paw, and turn. She’s an outdoor dog and sleeps in a cage in my garage but doesn’t like being in a cage during the day for long periods of time. She loves napping under the sun, snacking on peanut butter, yogurt, and cheese! Aurora enjoys playing in the water in the summer (in their little pool or the lake) and loves squeky and treat toys! Aurora is not spayed but up to date with shots and rabies shot. She is still learning and would need someone that can train her and help her correct her resource guarding behavior. She doesn’t bark a lot and ok around kids. When Vito arrived, he instantly greeted his new foster mom and dad. Vito is such a sweet guy. He loves kisses and has no behavioral issues. He is house broken and does not mind being handled. He gets along well with other dogs. Not sure about cats but on walks he is curious when he sees small critters. He is afraid of the garden hose. He does not play with toys or balls. He just chills out most of the day. He loves walks and car rides. Every once in a while he tries to jump on the couch but he knows that is not allowed. He is very food motivated! Vito has been a great companion and we love caring for him, he is just a big teddy bear. Vito has been diagnosed with Diabetes and Cushing's Disease. Ive had this little girl since she was 8 weeks old. She is a sweetheart, her smile is priceless cannot have a bad day with her around. Sadly her aunties have attacked her repeatly as of a few months ago. I can not keep her in good conscious Im fearful of the bigger girls hurting her badly so this is why Im rehoming her.
