Story
Izzy is a rescue, having been fostered in our family since end of 2(xxx) xxx-xxxx . She is good with other dogs, great with cats, and okay with kids. She came in extremely skittish and we have been working with her for the last few years to build her confidence and rewire her reactivity among life activities day to day. She is now much more confident, EXTREMELY loving and LOVES snuggles, belly rubs. She is very playful, loves fetch and going on walks. She walk on the leash very well, heels, sits, lays down, does not jump what so ever and smiles! She is the perfect family dog for someone who can and has to provide a fun, relaxing and consistent routine and home environment. She has never bitten and it great with other male dogs. More submissive but adjusts well to other confident dogs lead. She comes when called and loves to be outside. Izzy is to be an inside dog only with outside turn out. We are VERY picky with who she goes to and looking for the perfect home to continue her training.

Harvey is a big boy weighing in at 95lbs of pure muscle!! He is FULL OF ENERGY and will need a experienced doberman owner who will make him mind. He knows sit, down and shake. Harvey has a hard time keeping all 4 feet on the floor so a young athletic owner would be best suited for him. A fence is required! All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.November 20, 2025, 8:25 pm

Daphne and her 4 puppies were left at the shelter one evening with a bowl of water and nothing else. They spent the night on the front porch of the shelter waiting for their owner to come back or the shelter staff to find them. The puppies have been adopted, but Daphne is still waiting for her forever home. She is 3-4 years old, we believe a Doberman/Lab mix, weighs 56lbs., is current with her shots , heartworm negative, spayed and chipped. She is a friendly girl, energetic and athletic, good with people and kids, but she is picky about other dogs , so she may need to be the only dog in the home.

Sam is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix who’s ready to find her forever home. After being a wonderful mom to her puppies, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled. She’s very loving and enjoys being close to her people, soaking up all the attention she can get. Sam is dog-friendly, crate trained, and mostly house trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. Sam would do great with a family or individual looking for a loyal companion who enjoys both cuddle time and companionship. Sam currently weighs about 45 lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 08/20/2023), and her adoption fee is $315. Sam has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
