Story

Physical appearance:  Bambi is a female black and tan, natural eared Doberman that is approximately 10 month old. She is a small, dainty little girl weighing in at 45lbs. Personality:  Bambi was named for her sweet, shy "baby deer" like personality. It takes her some time to warm up to new people, keeping her distance until she's comfortable, but once she gets to know you, she's all wiggles and wags and begging for attention. She's a little socially awkward, not really sure how to stand still and be close for pets, but that makes her all the more adorable. She does well with other dogs and has shown no interest in the cats in the foster home. We don't know how she is since she has not been around any, but we would not recommend small children since she has the bad habit of jumping up on people and running into them which could injure a small child. She thinks freshly fallen leaves are the greatest and will run around the yard with them in her mouth. Why she’s in rescue:  Bambi was found as a stray and when no one came to claim her at animal control, she was transferred into rescue. Manners and Training: This sweet little girl has almost zero manners, but what she lacks in manners she makes up for in cuteness. She gets very excited on leash and will pull and try and weave between your legs or run around you so you have to be careful while you walk and help calm her down and know her place. She will alo try and jump up and while she knows she's not supposed to, she can hardly contain her excitement and conveniently forgets each time. She is potty trained and does great in a crate both at home and in the car. Vetting: All our dogs are brought up to date on rabies, Bordetella, and combo, negative for intestinal parasites and heartworms, spayed and microchipped before adoption.   ##1874588##

Amun really enjoys spending time with people. He also has great patience and can accompany children and the elderly.  He lives with cats and is very friendly toward them.  Good with dogs as long as they do not show aggression toward him. One of his family members has become very allergic to Amun so he needs to find a new loving home. Parody is a black and tan Doberman/German Shepherd/Rottweiler/Supermutt (per Embark DNA) who is fun! She is just over one year old. She has competed in a canicross trail run and shows great potential for fast cats and barn hunt. She has attended a street fair in Chattanooga and had a blast! She is a super fun young lady with so much potential! She does incredibly well with other dogs and loves to play! She would play all day with other dogs if she could! She would make someone a wonderful sport dog or active companion. She can be wary of new people until she opens up. And when she does open up, she's the absolute sweetest. Parody has spent time with a human baby and is the best big dog sister and was frequently checking up on her. Parody is very much still a puppy who loves fun! Even if she is nervous in a new situation, once she realizes that things are fun, she is up for anything!
